I’ve been an every dayer for a few seasons now, this podcast gave me the emotional support I needed to get through last season. Normally, I enjoy it while making my morning coffee but a lot of times after a good game or exciting news week, I have to stay up and tune in live because this show is so great. Thank you, JD! Go Sharks!

JD rules. He provides thoughtful review of the Sharks, their play, and the state of the franchise. At times, a bit rosy on his outlook, he ultimately wants to see good hockey and that guides his critique and reviews. Also, he’s pretty funny, and occasionally has some solid interviews. If you’re a Sharks fan, ya gotta listen!

One of the best Sharks podcasts, JD is a normal dude which makes it an easy listen and feels like you’re just discussing your favorite team with your friend. I listen to or watch every episode.

JD has been the front runner of Sharks podcasting for several years and he is only getting better. From having prospects guest star, to running through high profile draft picks with elite level experts, he is also of the most informed podcasters about a sports team from all the podcasts I listen to. He also willed William Eklund, and Macklin Celebrini to team teal so the future success of the Sharks rest on his word. Highly recommended.

When it comes to SJ Shahks content, JD is the guy. Consistently pumps out great material. We wouldn’t have the vibes we do without our Tank Commander in Chief. Truly appreciate the work JD does for us Shahks fans

The Content Boi lives up to his name. He provides excellent game previews, game recaps, draft profiles, interviews and analysis. This is the podcast for Sharks fans by a Sharks fan. Follow JD on social media for the full experience. His meme game is STRONG and William Eklund approved.

JD puts his heart and soul into this daily podcast and gives an underserved Sharks news community consistent content. His passion for the team comes through and is a huge asset. 5 stars.

This was probably the darkest year as a Sharks fan and I was glad to listen to someone who isn’t as cynical as other Sharks podcaster were. Loads of insight, content and just general must listen for any one who tells themselves that they bleed teal.

I’ve been listening to J.D. (the Tank Commander) for a while and he exudes two things when it comes to Sharks hockey: passion and knowledge. The thing that really sets his podcast apart is the deep dive he takes on individual players, especially prospects. I’ve learned a ton about Team Teal’s options as we approach the most important draft in team history. Keep up the great work!

JD does a great job of breaking things down and explaining how the team got here, and where they could be going. Though I don’t always agree with him, I appreciate his through knowledge and background information, you can tell he does his research. WAY too many adds, but we all have to make a buck don’t we? Perfect length of episodes too! Good to listen to for a work out or on a lunch break. One of the few podcasts I have to listen to every day.

Love the analytics, it’s positive, which is helpful for a team who’s not very good. Keep up the great analytics and keep talking about the Cuba.

I want to like this pad, but the it need a more lively host. JD sounds like a substitute teacher taking attendance.

As a new fan I was looking for a podcast to help me understand what I was watching. JD has not only made me sound really smart when talking to friends, he gets really deep into the stats and makes it all understandable. He is super knowledgeable but keeps if fun!

The Intro takes too much time, and the amount of time spent on ads turns me away from this being on my regular rotation. Decent podcast, and some really good deep dives with guests. But hearing those tiresome, forced ads is just a letdown.

Great Sharks content but feels like about 50% ads. Just too much. There are other Sharks casts with way leas ad content and that’s where I go these days.

I never heard more idiocy about hockey come out of people’s mouth then what you hear from these two goons. Find a different podcast if you want hear a good conversation about Sharks hockey or any hockey for that matter. I’d give it zero stars if I was allowed.

Followed these guys on FTF way before they had a podcast. Feel like the spirit of the old site, with some Neutral-like analysis, and a dash of that Plank-like humor (IYKYK), lives on through this show. (Shoutout to the [non-toxic] people who try to keep that site going!) Kinda like it better now that it’s just JD tbh, though I wish he’d have Sheng or other guests on more frequently to have a little more to riff on. I genuinely appreciate the consistent quality and quantity of content from JD and this Locked-on pod. One of the only podcasts I listen to, period actually (not usually my thing). Hats off to him. Go Sharks!

Most consistent Sharks podcast. Always new topics being discussed

Locked On Sharks is always a great listen whether you are a Sharks fan waiting for news updates or a fan of another team. Host JD, does a great job of balancing sharks related news and bringing experts on to talk about this year’s upcoming draft. Even if you aren’t a Sharks fan, I highly recommend you check those draft profiles out as people such as Will Scouch, Mikael Holm and many others credible and knowledgeable sources come on the pod. Additionally, there are often times interviews with Sharks players and prospects which are always good listens.

The Content Boyz bring the heat. They make being a Sharks fan bearable. Love the draft profiles.

The content boys are easily the best Sharks podcast (also one of the best sports podcasts period) available. They are funny and entertaining while not engaging in shilling for the Sharks front office and providing insightful and relevant coverage as well as looking towards the future of our favorite team. Aside for their unreasonable hate for Kane and Nieto (both brown men! hmmmm…) They are the bees knees and have sold me on Bill Bars as well as gambling my mortgage and buying my car parts on their advertising partners websites. Thanks content boiz!

These two are so entertaining AND knowledgeable. I look forward to listening to it everyday. It’s my favorite of the Locked On NHL podcasts that I listen to.

They used my intro, so they’re pretty cool. On a serious note, this is an extremely well constructed and fun podcast on the San José Sharks, I listen to it every time they drop an episode. All the hosts are very likable and interact with their listeners. They look at the Sharks on more of a fan perspective, as opposed to the reporters on Twitter or other podcasts, who look at some situations through a more franchise-based perspective. Overall, this is an amazing podcast.

The Sharks have been a steaming pile the last couple of seasons and these guys haven’t let that effect their coverage of the team. They do deep dives into anything Sharks. I love listening to them. Local Bay Area sports talk doesn’t give the Sharks any love, but these guys make up for all that. Solid go-to Sharks podcast

Love the pod but sometimes I find it hard to understand what they actually are talking a about

In the current era of Erik Karlsson, Sharks podcasts are like Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ porridge. Some podcasts are too hot(“EK65 is a diva locker room cancer who doesn’t try and is ruining the Sharks!”) and some podcasts are too cold(“The Sharks are going to be the dark horse cup contender!”). Locked on Sharks, however, is just right. They analyze the team fairly, have knowledge of the game, and don’t hold dumb grudges against players for no reason. Plus, they have a great rapport and are pretty funny at times. My only knock would be the audio quality could be a bit better but equipment can be upgraded and it’s certainly not unlistenable. I’ve listened to a lot of different Sharks pods and this has easily become my favorite one over the past few weeks. But hey I might just be a JD burner account, so who knows.
