    So grateful
So grateful for this podcast. I really want to change my parenting approach to be more kind and caring. I want to build a close bond with my kids now when they are little and I need to break the habits that have been instilled in me since birth. This podcast touches on so many great subjects and gives you great ideas! Like special time!

    Love Michelle’s perspective !
This is parenting at its best! This has really helped with my sibling rivalry issues! She teaches the parent how to teach the child to resolve conflict and I absolutely love her material! Have learned so much and have become a more thoughtful parent in the process!

    Michelle is an inspiration!
Being a mom was the only thing I ever wanted to be. Finding myself yelling and unable to control my emotions with my girls made me feel like a complete failure. I am so grateful that I found this podcast. I listen to it daily. Now I feel like I actually know what I can do in those tough moments and that managing my emotions is much more important than controlling my children and their behavior. Michelle is helping so many of us become the parents we dreamed we would be. Keep up the great work, Michelle! This world needs you!!!

    Grateful
Grateful to have found this podcast. I just started listening last week and have started implementing the advice with my 3 kids. I started seeing changes the first day. I am focusing on connection. My Husband and I are working on changing our old way of doing things so that we can have peace and harmony with our kids. This podcast and the FB group and the emails and notes have been so helpful. Looking forward to continue learning and implementing what we learn.

This is so easy to listen to!
The length of the episodes are perfect for a mom with limited time, the messages aren’t preaching to you but feel like conversation, and you get to come to your own conclusions for your family. I can’t recommend this enough!

    Made me a supermom
I’d been using connected parenting, but there were a few areas where I felt stuck. After finding this podcast and listening to a dozen different episodes, OMG, every single question I had been asking myself was answered (and then some). It was easy to integrate the little tweaks, and my toddler took to them instantly. I feel like a supermom now—the exact kind of parent I want my little one to have. Even better, when I started implementing the changes, I was showered with so many big smiles and “I love yous” out of the blue. I feel different inside, and my child can feel it too.

    Such great parenting support.
This podcast has truly helped me so much in my parenting. Michelle’s parenting style supports a beautiful relationship with our children and it’s confirmed in the behavior my kids elicit. Parenting is about giving love and support to our children and also to ourselves. That’s exactly what this podcast supports us in doing.

    Frustrating to Implement
There are a lot of good take aways from this pod cast, and I enjoy listening; however, actually implementing this is a whole different story! I agree the more connected the kids are, the better they listen (and that has been a huge take away), but unless you are a stay at home mom who doesn’t actually have to be anywhere at a certain time, this method is likely not for you! The idea that you basically give up structure and correction is not for us, doing this made my life far more frustrating. When my kids are screaming and hitting each other, the pod cast provides no real answer as to how to deal with this! In that moment, “connection” is not a reasonable answer nor is leaving them alone and not correcting the behavior and letting them kill each other. I don’t know, I have taken good things from this, but I’ve also acquired a ton of frustrations and headaches trying to implement these new methods in our house. At the end of the day, I think the frustrations are becoming greater than the benefits. I would like to find a middle ground between doing nothing and constantly punishing, but Michelle states it’s all or nothing; therefore, I’m pretty meh on this pod cast.

    Life changing
My mom came across Michelle Kenney on Instagram and sent me a screenshot of one of her posts. I listened to the first few episodes of The Peace and Parenting Podcast about 6 months ago and became hooked. To date, I have listened to every episode, sometimes more than once!! I love how real and raw Michelle is in describing her own parenting journey and the approach she has taken with interviewing other experts, bringing people on for mini coaching sessions, and telling more and more of her own story and issues with perfectionism within parenting. Her vulnerability and empathy towards parents that are struggling has been life changing for me. I highly recommend her taking her online workshops and reading her book to kick you off on making lasting changes with your parenting relationships. All of her materials are so helpful if you can't afford and Hand in Hand Parenting coach. Thank you for all that you do! I will listen forever!

    Love the show!!
I can’t wait to learn more about parenting. I have been struggling with my 3 year old daughter lately with not listening and direction. She’s also developed social anxiety I believe. She does not want me to leave her. My only thing I could recommend is maybe better audio. Some of the episodes aren’t clear. Thanks!

    I absolutely love this podcast!
I’ve been really trying to learn about parenting as I struggle to parent my 3 kids without yelling. Michelle’s insights are helping me so much to navigate what I need to heal in me to be more present, empathetic, and calm for my kids. I never wanted to be the yelling mom and as my kids get older I see myself yelling way too much and it’s so disheartening. I’m learning everyday and seeing the difference! The podcast helps me when I feel like I need a reset there is always something here to fit the struggle I’m dealing with and helps me find my calm to figure out what to do.

    Very insightful and practical tips
Thanks Michelle for the great examples you use. I sometimes write the exact words you use on your examples so I can look back and use them with my kids. Your tips on strong-willed sensitive kids are specially appreciated. It’s very challenging to navigate parenting of these kids.

    Best Parenting Podcast!
I love this podcast so much! It is full of so much information but it doesn’t take a whole day to listen to. Ha. I am a parent and I don’t have time to listen to these long podcast that are out there. I need the information and I need it quick. I love that these are so short and right to the point and full of great information and tips on how to get better and understand connective parenting. Thank you so much Michelle. I love your calm and sweet nurturing voice. You are so full of knowledge. I am so glad I found you.

Simple, practical, impactful guidance for parenting
I am so thankful I stumbled upon the Peace and Parenting podcast! The topics are relatable and applicable to any stage of parenting children (my 3 kids range from 4 to 12), and the episodes are easy to listen to and get right to the point! Michelle gives reasoning behind what she suggests and how to implement her advice, and asks thought-provoking rhetorical questions. I find myself constantly listening to her nuggets of wisdom whenever I’m in the car alone and somehow they are never repetitive or boring. This really is a must listen for any parent wanting to be better and do better for their children. Next up for me is reading Michelle’s book!

    Such a helpful podcast
I love listening to this podcast when I am feeling untethered as a mom, it validates my feelings and recenters me always. I love how the approach spans from toddlers to teens and there are SO many personal examples and stories that really help illustrate the concepts. So thankful for Michelle's work!

    Absolutely life changing
I discovered this podcast a few weeks ago and started listening from the beginning. I already knew a lot about gentle parenting and thought I’d just be listening “for fun.” Little did I know how much I’d learn. I take time every day while cooking dinner to listen to an episode and it’s the best self-care I could ask for as it helps me go into the nighttime routine with so much for strength and confidence. I feel such a shift in my relationship with my kids in only a few short weeks. It’s really all about connection. Thank you peace and parenting for all you do!!

    Probing questions
I am new to this podcast and just listened to the probing questions podcast about probing questions you can ask your child to help them make better decisions on their own. Very little content was provided in that podcast and by that I mean very few probing questions were provided and I felt it was a lot of rambling without context. I have listened to a couple of other episodes that were helpful but this one really felt just like a lot of rambling because all I heard was the word probing questions several times within the podcast itself but not much helpful information provided.

Always looking forward to your episodes
I’ve gained so many tips here as a first time mom! Appreciate it very much!

Each show is a manageable length so I can finish the whole thing running one errand and the insights into parenting are invaluable and priceless. Reparenting myself too
I’m not a parent but I’m in social work school and interested in preparing for maybe parenting in the future. This podcast has not only helped me learn tools for working with children - it’s also helped me work through trauma from my own childhood and reparent myself. Thank you! 🙌🏼

    Therapist-Mom-100% changed
I am a licensed therapist and stumbled upon the Instagram page connected with this podcast a year ago. My life has been forever changed. This was the last piece of the puzzle to my understanding of Human relationships & attachment! I am now working towards a beautiful connected relationship with my children and encourage/urge other mothers to do so daily. This also caused me to go through a good emotional release/grieving process associated with my own childhood. Thank you so much for this content, it’s changed my whole life!!!

From Gentle parenting to Peaceful Parenting!
This podcast alone changed everything for me. Just tonight, my 5.5 year old son said “hey mama, you haven’t yelled at me in a really long time…” (yelling for him means stern/forceful speaking but nevertheless, what a mom win!) Over the past five years I’ve done it all, quite literally. Read all the books. Researched for hours. Shuffled through countless experts and ended up with a hodgepodge of tactics that worked… some of the time. The key piece I was missing was taking into account the very independent, strong willed, highly sensitive and sweet personality of my children. I was doing all the “right things” but it really wasn’t working how I thought it would. Then I stumbled onto peaceful parenting and it was like the light at the end of the tunnel! I’ll admit that at first I was extremely skeptical (kiss my son when he hits??) but really, even if you pick ONE suggestion throughout this entire podcast, it’ll change your perspective and snowball into an increasingly wonderful relationship with your babies. 10/10 recommend!

    Carrying my through this season
This podcast is truly carrying me through this season of mamahood. I recently had my third little and have found it more challenging to connect to all three. These short episodes make it easy to have a little boost in the car, during nap time or after bed time. It has redirected me in how I approach both of my strong-willed toddlers and is bringing more peace back into our home.

    Love it
Such a great podcast that helps keep me focused on connection with my kids, especially when my default is to control. It reminds me of the benefits of choosing connection even if it’s slow and hard work at times, so I stay motivated. 🤍

    My best support
I’m a mom of a two year old (soon to be 3) and I am struggling with yelling. This podcast is the only tool that supports me out of understanding why this isn’t in line with what I feel is right for me and my daughter and helps me come out of my shame from yelling. When I listen to (and re-listen) to your episodes, I realize I am not alone, I have clear tools and tips to immediately apply, and I know that it will never be perfect. Thank you so much for what you do. Michelle’s voice is comforting and that helps me feel even more like I have her support via her podcast. The under 20-minute episodes are also ideal for me - if they were longer I am afraid it would cause me to ruminate and forget about all amazing tips she clearly provides. Thank you, Michelle. Thanks to you, I think we are in the midst of raising an amazing generation of children.

First time listening to your pod cast and lord knows it hit me hard. Respect. I’ve been wondering why my children battle my husband and I often and it’s clear as day now. We need to make some changes and really look within us to find why we are so disconnected. Thank you for sharing your input. So glad I found your pod cast!

    Mega insightfulness!!
This show has helped me reach awareness episode after episode!!! I was literally talking about where I'm stuck, listened to the next episode and it was right what I needed. The connection part makes so much sense. The most difficult part is the self care and coming to realize my traumas and triggers. So fortunate to have stumbled on this podcast. Love, light, and patience to my fellow parentals!

    Favorite parenting podcast
I love Michelle’s podcast. Her connective parenting technique just makes so much sense. I swear it’s the only thing that really works with my eight year old who struggles with anxiety and a lot of big emotions. The podcast is short and sweet which makes it easy to catch every episode. Listening twice a week keeps me going and reminds me I’m doing a good job with my kid. I’ve been listening for a while and can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet! Thanks Michelle!

    Grateful
I really appreciate this podcast. Michelle provides insight and advice about how to connect with my child instead of trying to control my child. She provides real life scenarios and isn’t afraid to admit when she slips up. Her approach is also filled with grace because we all make mistakes. Thank you, Michelle!

    Every parent needs to listen!!!
This is the first podcast I’ve listened to and it’s mind blowing! Things that seem like they make perfect sense and you wonder how and why you haven’t realized this and haven’t parented like this all along. I am so excited to keep listening and implementing all the tips and ideas they share!! You won’t regret this one!! Thank you Michelle and Gemma for opening up and sharing your vulnerable moments with us and how you turned it into something amazing!!

It doesn’t have to be so hard.
Parenting is hard, and lonely, and full of moments of self doubt and ridicule or at least it was. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still hard, but I no longer feel like I’m getting it wrong most of the time. Michelle’s podcast and private coaching has given me the tools to rebuild and repair bonds broken through yelling/punishments/threats and the support and guidance to build connection and to get through the really hard moments with more grace and confidence. I go to bed at night knowing my kids feel loved and supported by me when I used to go to bed feeling like I’m pushing them away. I am beyond grateful for the work she does 💕

You Have Completely Changed Our Home
Wow! The timing of finding you was something of magic! I have listened religiously to your podcast every chance I get, and am already implementing everything I can. My 10 year old son is has become increasingly very negative, exhibits ODD and ADHD behaviors and had become more and more disrespectful and spiteful even though we just parent normal, are loving but used consequences and punishments and limited a lot of things (to be good parents of course). We have read every book and tried every system and nothing has stuck. I’ve tried parts of what you advise but not consistently and definitely haven’t had the personal reserves these last few years. I’ve been taking care of myself and filling my tank and now am able to give from it. I’ve started doing special time with my son and daughter but my son obviously needed it the most. Last night, after less than a week of changing some major things in our home, but just 2 days of special time, he was like a different kid! Just 2 days!!! My daughter asked me if I had given him some special vitamin or something because he was being so nice to her and was overall just kinder and positive. I told her no and she asked “oh, did you play with him?!”, with this Buddha like knowing grin.🥹 And then whispered that I need to do it every day. She’s 8. I’m literally tearing up as I write this. I have heard a lot of what you teach before but I think the way you present it hits different! I’m converted! We also did away with punishments and consequences and have been seeing massive improvement in just the past week. My husband was skeptical and really thought our son had severe ODD and needed meds. Intuitively I knew something else was up and didn’t want to continue down that path. After sharing what you teach, following through with empathizing when he’s having a hard time instead of leaving him alone and really letting go of all my old rigid ways, my husband is seeing the major results in our son (and me and our daughter) and is now is skeptic turned believer. You have no idea how powerful this has been in such a short amount of time for our family! 🧡🧡🧡 so much gratitude for you!!!
