I used to enjoy listening to this show, but the ad reads are geared more heavily toward an adult audience despite him trying to have his episodes themselves trying to go for a more family friendly audience. Combined with the episode lengths being the same yet having so many more non-ad read ads than before adds up.

I’ll go out of my way to turn this off when friends or family are in the car or around because of the sex toy ads. But “Family Friendly” I guess.

Love this podcast! The great stories and interesting opinions Dabnee shares on the topics of the posts is a nice change from the other Reddit podcasts I’ve listened too. I’ve recently seen people complaining a out the adult toy ads, but it’s really not that big of a deal. You have the option to skip the ads? You can fast-forward the episode to skip it. Plus, it’s just an ad. If Dabnee gets money from ads it means he can keep making more episodes. Plus I’m sure people looking for adult toys appreciate the discount 🤣😉

I have just finished listening to ALL the episodes over the last couple of months and I gotta say r slash is a great dude. He gives very solid and fair takes on many different situations he reads on Reddit. I have learned a lot not only from him and his takes but also all the Reddit stories he has covered on what to do and what not to do in different situations while being entertaining! I definitely would recommend this to anyone that likes Reddit and their stories.

been listening for a while and listened to every single episode. i put him on as backround noise while im doing chores or errands and looking back for episodes to watch over long trips i remember all of the titles. great voice and he’s pretty funny

I’m honestly so disappointed, I’ve been listening for years but the last approx. six months have soured the whole show for me. The episode lengths have not changed at all, but now there’s 2-3 minutes of ads. And the fact that the ads promote things like Adam and Eve when the show is censored so heavily is honestly hypocritical. (So much my weekly sharing of this at work) Not to mention the repeat of stories that has been happening for years but honestly is a slap in the face since there’s less content now then there was before.

This podcast is very entertaining, like a best of the most popular Reddit posts from the most popular groups. My only issue is that a lot of stories get repeated. I wouldn’t mind a repeat story if it has an update, but that is not the case.

I love this podcast so much! It has such great content and so much content that I can listen to it for a few hours a day! There was a drop in quality but I understand it is only for a month so that is fine but THE ADAM AND EVE ADDS😭 pls stop this adds for my sanity lol.

It’s not too big a deal, but the sound quality has dropped significantly. I still love the content though, keep it up!

When I want to just laugh at stuff- this is the best, except when I want to cry for these OPs that are being SO taken advantage of at times… alas- when there’s been no real harm done to any party, it’s a blast. When it’s a disservice to an innocent party, it’s less of one, but still not the current state of political affairs !

The over acting when reading is a bit much sometimes, and Dabney‘s opinions are sometimes pretty ignorant, although a few times, he shows some insightfulness. I’m sure he’s just young and doesn’t have a lot of life experience. Some of his comments are rather cringe worthy.

Even though the sound quality is a little worse I don’t care, you still make awesome vids which I love listening to while doing schoolwork.

I listen to this guys a bunch, and I discovered him earlier today. I’ve already listened to over an hour of his content. This is better than actually reading the stories in my opinion!

I really enjoy listening to r/! Great commentary etc.. however some episodes lately have cut off before the story was finished. This is one of those.

I love listening to r/slash ever since i first discovered his youtube post and it was the most amazing thing ever with the variety that he had from so many posts and i still do to this day… Sadly i haven’t seen alot of my favourite sub-reddits in a long time, mainly r/choosingbeggers, r/talesfromtechsupport and i don’t remember the last one but i was about kevins … Now i still love the content but its gone from very fun and versitile to almost the same post day after day of r/AITA and r/relashionshipadvice and more which makes the posts less fun and unpredictable and more on the serious problems side… Sorry for the rant, i just wanted to vent a little :)
