The most annoying host in the history of podcasts, period.
I can’t even make it through the intro, the host is just so far beyond annoying. They even advocate for criminal activity in some of the episodes. How has this guy not been kicked out of podcasting yet?

    What a joke!
Does not even deserve a star. Don’t attack anyone with opposing view, instead layout your own hypothesis and let listeners make up their own minds.

    Great Show
Outstanding Podcast. The host is terrific. Younger than most but still, brilliant! Keep it up! Anyone who doesn't agree must just hate everything.

I couldn’t get past the microaggressions
I really wanted to like this show, but in several episodes the host does things like ask people with foreign-sounding names where they are from, poke fun at their names, and otherwise act completely ignorant about culture and how to respectfully address people who are different than you. Somehow, I assumed this guy was an academic, but looking at the other reviews I can see he isn’t and that there is also right wing propaganda. I wasn’t willing to listen past the intros. Not worth your time.

This is a Grade A science podcast! this is the best science podcast I've found. It's not overly basic or too complex... the conversations are easy to follow and very entertaining.
  • velocibaker
    Beware
This is a thinly veiled anti science propaganda podcast. Fascinating to see how they try to sound scientific while denying science and pushing a right wing agenda.
  • foxcskid
    Self centered/opinionated
Tried to start two different episodes. Jeez be nice if the guy could start on the subject and not his offhand, low quality opinions.

    good content - awful host
it’s kind of miserable listening to every single intro but once you get past that, the shows pretty interesting

    Love it
I really enjoy astronomy, the history and the guests. I like the off-the-cuff candor the show’s host maintains—it is a refreshing change to the straight scientific rigor methodology of many podcasts. What I would like to hear more about would be Lyman-Alpha Blobs or clouds as incubating galaxies and other types of rare things we do not hear much about. Can we hear more about things like M Theory, String Theory, some of the new thinkers creating new theories and physics, etc. Thank you for a great show, David.

    Great stuff
Timely discussions with top thinkers in physics. The interviews meander a bit, but that leads to really interesting explorations about all sorts of scientific topics.

Great, and informative, but a bit needy.
I greatly enjoy this, as someone who as a kid, wanted to be a theoretical astrophysicist. The biggest issue is he constantly panders for 5 star reviews. I agree it’s a great podcast, but don’t seem desperate, or it will detract listeners.

Brendan, Happy now ?! Ha ha Brenden has really come to become a very good interviewer. He always has great guests. He get them to explain complex topics to us mere mortals. He’s a little irevent at times but highly enjoyable.

Very insightful show for individuals, both with and without a science background. I enjoy the astronomy and climate episodes the most. Incredibly funny guy. And yes Brendan, I honestly did think you died of COVID during your 2 month thesis hiatus....Very glad to hear your voice!

    Awesome Podcast!!
This is such a good Podcast. I’d give him Five Stars (it’s really close 4.9999999...< Stars < 5), if he either wouldn’t mention the American President, or could at least be neutral. I do try to just fast forward through those parts, but it seems impossible sometimes. But hey, this is America right?! He’s got every right to freedom of speech!! As do I. So thanks for an almost Five Star Podcast Brendon, lol!! And I can assure everyone he does not give two ____’s what myself or anyone else thinks, which is another reason it’s a great podcast!!
