Matt and Nick seem to grasp and explain current team news and analysis like no others. I appreciate the unvarnished nature of their commentary. I rarely miss an episode and suggest you don’t either if you are a casual fan or in the weeds with data and analytics. Something for everyone!

Show provides the best content on the Chiefs on a weekly basis. If you only listen to one Chiefs podcast per week, this is the one for you. Very informative.

Nick is and under-appreciated talent. A superb podcast. Would listen if the guys did a daily Chiefs podcast.

Usually just listen to Nick for the draft, but he has great analysis about the roster and games. Just discovered this new show. Liked the old show, but could not listen in season because the other co-host from the past was not my cup of tea. I’m enjoying the addition of Matt Derrick and his insider perspective. Great choice!

Some journalists need to stick to print media if they aren’t inclined to put in the time to become better speakers. Matt seems like a good guy and he is great on content but he says “I mean” and “you know” constantly. Very distracting and amateurish. And he hasn’t improved over time. Years ago Matt would end almost every sentence with “and everything like that.” This stuff is fixable if he wants to improve!

Glad you guys can continue to unleash great Chiefs content!

I’ve been listening to the pod since it’s earliest days. I remember Christa Dubill was still with KSHB. At the time, it felt like the most approachable Chiefs pod I had come across. But there are so many others now and the Chiefs are a national football topic on a daily basis. So I have a lot of avenues for Chiefs content these days. I’m not sure how much longer 4th and 1 will stay in my rotation. Todd can be overly goofy for sure but he seems to “get” the host role. I worry about my guy Nick though. His knowledge for the game is truly what’s kept me listening but this dude just sounds so down sometimes. KSHB: Can we get him some more recognition or support? I feel like just by the little comments he makes sometimes I can tell this guy has had a rough go of it. His mind for the game is something to be valued but his delivery and demeanor is becoming unlistenable. Let’s see what we can do for this man or bring someone else in who sounds like they want to be there.

Very good information, Todd has a tendency to ramble a bit much. They’re great when they stay on task n not try to be funny, which isn’t what they’re best @.

I like this podcast. Good insight from fans, sports fans. Good breakdown of what needs to change, how to approach the opponent, where we lack overall confidence and can improve. Keep up the good work.

Mostly opinionated stuff by guys who are around the players enough to have a good grasp of things but I feel this is something I would enjoy more if either I was a diehard, which I’m not, or had guys on who are experts on the game. Twitter is full of guys who “break down film” but what are their credentials other than playing in high school?

From Missouri but I moved to NW Arkansas in 2007 and it wasn’t until Patty Mahomes that everyone started talking about the Chiefs so I had been on the lookout for something that talked about my favorite team a lot more in depth than just a 30 second segment on tv. That’s where Nick and Tod came in. Both very knowledgeable and entertaining. Both also have a good chemistry with each other. You can tell Nick really does his homework with pre and post game research. They aren’t going to come off as “Homers” either. They are very honest in what they talk about. Don’t just take my word for it... Listen to the podcast and enjoy.

Nick is so knowledgeable about all aspects of the game. Both guys do really well at explaining things so all of us understand it.

Nick is very solid on this podcast and he has some great football takes. Todd tries to be funny and really it’s just annoying because he isn’t funny. Todd goes off topic several times per pod. It’s sometimes very difficult to listen to because of him but Nick has always done well and actually gives great knowledge.

Good, thorough thoughts. Feel like I can level with these discussions more so than some other football-related pods that are very superficial.

Nobody better with football knowledge than nick and nobody funnier than tod.

Please consider making an “inside” story a permanent part of the program.

The off topic inside jokes are annoying. Todd Palmer the host of the show seems to have zero knowledge about the direction of the show. But during the season the analysis and breakdown of the team and the opposing teams is decent to listen too.

Great pod cast. I listen every week. Nick Is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. Todd Palmer is a great host and very funny. Perfect duo.

Great sound quality, and of course Nick Jacobs has been around the Chiefs organization for a long time. Good content and practical analysis.
