I was given extra credit in my class for my WAP class. Though at first I procrastinated on it. I now realize this was a glorious gift of entertaining studying!

This podcast is a pure gem. I love that it’s a good refresher for me as a teacher, but also I can assign it to my students or listen to it in the car with my husband. She covers a lot of audiences and that’s hard to do with history. It’s also simple but comprehensive, which is also hard to do. All around just great and I’m grateful to have access to this. Thank you!

This is a great podcast to get a big picture view on history and the historical context of current events. She often moves focus from people that often get highlighted to the people who didn't “win history” and get to tell their own story. Give it a listen!

Emily does a fantastic job of explaining history in a fun and accurate way. It’s not completely euro centric and gives great detail about what was going on in the world at different times. Love this!

I’m late to the game. I caught onto this podcast a couple weeks ago, but I’ve already binged through half of Season 3. I love that she has the same sense of humor and dorkiness as me. It’s refreshing to find another history buff who can talk about it without it sounding like a lecture. Also, sidenote, listening to the Season 2 episodes in 2022-2023 is a brutal “hindsight is 20/20” moment. Thanks Emily!!!!!

This podcast is the best. I used this to review for the AP World exam last year and the APUSH exam this year and it was extremely helpful (I got a 4 on World and a 5 on APUSH), as well as entertaining. Emily is an awesome host. I’m not in history class anymore (maybe there can be an AP Gov edition somehow?), but I’m still listening to the new episodes because of how fascinating it is! I absolutely LOVE this podcast! I came for the US history content, but I am definitely going to go back and listen to the world history content!
