The dateline ads brought me here
I hope this podcast dies so I never have to listen to “forrrrr free” ever again
  • laceylynnc
    You’re annoying
Please change your ads on other podcasts. The “for freeeeee” thing is so obnoxious. Won’t ever listen to this podcast because of it. Go away

    Wow!
It’s great that Carol Burnett enjoyed the interview because I did too. What a thrill for the interviewer when she told him that. She is so wonderful, as an entertainer as well as a human being, and she has been right from the start. Always kind, funny, smart, and so humble...well it’s amazing and an inspiration. I’m nearly 63 years old and like everyone else my age, she’s always seemed like a beloved member of the family and nothing’s changed with the passing of the years. Incredible interview with an incredible woman. This podcast is added to my list of follows.

    Great conversation
The conversation this week with Colman was great, and so nice to hear gratefulness and emotion, thru the journey. I look forward each week. Today, I enjoyed the conversation on a walk in the rain and cold in Chicago, it was a highlight of my day to enjoy the podcast and be outside and be moving. Thank you, Willie and team.

    A Host Who Listens
I love this podcast. I love the guest he has on and I love the fact that he asks questions and then lets the guests talk without interrupting them. It’s not a big gush fest with his guest but feels like a genuine admiration for those he chooses to have on the show.

Great podcast however please be sure to do your research prior to interviewing. Niall just released his third album. Not second like the thumb nail description states.

Amazing pod cast. Easy questions that lead to thoughtful purposeful answers. My daughter came home from college raving about these conversations. Your honesty, kindness and inquisitive nature ring true to all ages. The conversation with Mr Tucci was fantastic!
  • Murphy364
    Such great questions!
I loved your conversation with Shonda Rimes. I’ve been a Grey’s fan since the beginning, and didn’t even know she did Scandal, which I also loved. Now I have to watch How to Get Away With Murder and revisit Bridgerton and tune in to Queen Charlotte. I totally understand why Joe’s son loves your Sunday morning show now. 😁 Great job, Willie.

Stanley Tucci never disappoints, he’s spellbinding merely by Voice…but he’s a very rational, regular guy that describes many of our friends. Plus like me, very fortunate thru the door to Cancer, the other doors to health opened up for me too. After Stage (3) & “lifetime look” told ahead, grim. His “Taste” I preordered, it came I read & past it around to A Myriad of friends, finally Bookclub & WOW! Just found “Citadel” this wkend! Headlines on one of Streamers! Gotcha STAN! I’m watching tonight! Thx to our Presenter! Great job Willie, as usual U made this Sound Delicious!

Top notch interview with Rachel Weisz
Willie is an incredible interviewer and always brings out unexpected things for the interviewee. That’s one of the things that makes it so much fun to be a listener. He really does his homework but he’s often a true fan too. He kept surprising Rachel with memories of things she did long ago that he had enjoyed. It’s a pleasure to learn about interesting people with Wiilie’s expert guidance and skills at getting at their core while also being very respectful. Love this podcast!

    I really enjoy your podcast.
I would love it if you would interview the elusive "Paul and Sasha" from the funny, satirical news comedy podcast "Community News with Paul and Sasha". They are so funny, smart, and relatable. I would love to hear you peel back the onion and find out more about these 2 former news, comedy, and talk show TV producers who created this funny show and fictional town. I hope to hear them on one of your future episodes.

Great podcast with a great host and great guests.
I look forward to listening to this podcast every Sunday. Willie is a great interviewer who asks good and interesting questions while actually letting the guests answer them without interrupting them.

I could listen to an entire series with him. So interesting and a good conversationalist. He has such great stories. Really enjoyed this week. And I love that Willie is so down to earth and genuine.

    Enjoy Nathan He’s the BEST!!!
What a great guy. He is so funny and non stop with all the wonderful stories. What a great Sunday show. You did a great job talking with Nathan & sharing with him. Thank U for another fun morning. PS like seeing you with lovely ladies Hoda & Jen too.

    Perfect
Willie Geist is truly the most insightful and brilliant interviewer of this generation! I look forward to next weeks episode!

Sebastian’s new special is not good
Are used to laugh until I peed my pants watching Sebastian Maniscalco but this most recent special just feels desperate. The ‘gay voice’ is telling. And not ‘getting’ Hamilton?? Look it up! Ignorance not that funny. And whatever he did to his face doesn’t look good either. But I love your show. Good job.

    Gigi
I love Willy but this interview was difficult to listen to …. The use of the word “like” was unbearable and Gigi rambled on and basically said nothing. Hang in there Willie your talents will be better used on other interviews

    Ad placement / DJ Khaled
July 2020 update: The ad placement with this podcast has become really annoying. First ad is usually less than 10 minutes in, and the last ad comes in with only 5 minutes left. Just frontload them or put them all in the middle or all at the end like other podcasts do. - The interview with DJ Khaled was almost unlistenable. Oof. 👎🏻
  • Kluvspooh
    Great conversations!
I look forward to the new episode of this podcast each week! I always learn something new about the interviewee if I’m already familiar with their work, and if they’re new to me it expands my horizons to explore new moves, books and tv. Willie’s interview style is great, the conversational nature is easygoing and enjoyable to listen to.

    Willie at His Best
I love to hear Willie interview anyone! That’s his forte! One on one, he’s untouchable! The interview with Grisham is a prime example! He never gets in the way of his guest! It’s a skill few have!
  • crap you

My favorite interview yet! Keep up the good work Willie!

    My Sunday Morning Wakeup
Love the show. Willie you are great. My only regret is not watching sooner, but better late than never. The trolls in the feedback are insignificant and just background noise. I look forward to your show. Can’t start my Sunday without it. Keep up the great work!

Machine Gun Kelly? Was R. Kelly unavailable? Hope you didn’t forget to ask Mark Wahlberg how he feels about domestic violence and racism! When you get a career handed to you, at least try to be good at it.

    Willy knows how to interview
He’s right up there with Howard Stern & David Letterman!

    Annoying add
Have not and will not listen to this podcast because the ads that run for it where he says “…listen FOORRR FRRREEE” is so annoying I cringe every time.
  • Jiaomaine
    One of my favorite podcasts
I am intrigued by the guests that are interviewed on this podcast. Willie’s interviewing style makes you feel that you are in the same place. My favorites are The interview with Ina Garten ( I’m a Civil Servant) and Ariana Dubose ( I have a dancer daughter on the Anastasia National Tour). I definitely can personally relate to their stories 🤩

    Seat at the Table
I saw this mornings interview with Jamie Dornan on TV. When I left the house to walk my dogs, I decided to log on to continue listening to the in depth interview, and this DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Willie asked questions that I would’ve asked. It was like two friends sitting at a bar and I felt so lucky that they allowed me to also have a seat at their table. When I finished this episode, I then pulled up the Goldie Hawn episode. I’ve loved watching Goldie my whole life and enjoyed listening to her take on the internet and social media how it affects us all. I even played back a certain segment numerous times that really spoke to me. I plan to make this a new ritual on Sunday mornings. Thank you

    Search for Willie
I wanted to continue the interview with Hillary Clinton, my hero. As I searched for this, I entered a search for Willie. Amazingly, he popped up just prior to Willie Nelson. Wouldn’t it be fun to do a show with the famous sharing the name Willie?
  • Flex2 DB
    Hillary Clinton
This is definitely worth a listen. Hillary gives helpful an insight to overcoming loss and she is certainly a great inspiration to women and girl as well as men who want to move on after loss. 💙💙💙

Can We Be Done With Hillary?
I have no respect for the woman. When will MSM realize most Americans are also not impressed by Hillary Clinton. There is a reason she was unable to deliver her acceptance speech… America does not love her the way MSM shoves her down our throats.
  • yogagirl56

    Machine Gun Kelly
Props to Willie for dealing with this entitled, tortured (eye roll) and self-absorbed performer. I’m glad MSG is able to overcome (eyeroll) his difficult life. Stay off the drugs MSG - that’s my advice.

    Starting Sunday

    Awful
Get this fool off the air. What a horrible waste of energy.
  • Fun1894
    Co-host/producer(s)..
They aren’t necessary to the talking points. They just repeat what Willie says. And stop with the pre-interview recaps. Just get right to the guests and let them tell their own stories. Some episodes could have used editing to get rid of the excessive coughing by some guests

    Willie Geist’s Way
I really enjoy Willie as an interviewer. He has such an easy way yet personable. You can tell he loves what he does and the two of them have a great time.

    Always interesting and professional
Willie did a great job navigating the MSG interview. I wasn’t sure is MSG was playing the part of an a-hole or is one. So awful, but glad it aired so I know to avoid msg interviews,- appearances and performances.
