    Bestest Help
I recently marathoned dozens of episodes and am now subconsciously bringing guppy energy into my relationship. My wife and I signed up for Better Help and will be starting couples counseling soon.

Everything to Mutini is a podcast that covers every character, item, and contrived time travel related plotline in 2009 internet multimedia classic Homestuck. Hearing the hosts talk about “hot idiot moms” made me think about the idea of blind idiot moms, and perhaps even hot idiot gods. This is kind of thought provoking content that we need more of nowadays.

    Too much Isaac Talk
I remember in middle school, or maybe this was late elementary, I had a crush on an older girl who was in my latin class. I was constantly staring at her when I should have been studying the Odyssey like the antisocial creepy kid that I was. One night I began to have a recurring dream in which I would be over at her house, and she would be upstairs. There would be a trail of a single spaghetti noodle leading from where I was, up the stairs, down the hall and into her room which was always a black void with her bed in the middle of it. She was under the sheets so I couldnt see her, sitting upright, and the trail of spaghetti led directly to her bed and under the sheet. I would, of course, do what one does in that situation. From the room downstairs I would begin crawling on all fours sucking the spaghetti down my gullet, without stopping, and approached her room. Once inside I would crawl forwards, tentatively now, slurping with slight trepidation as I approached the foot of the bed and crawled under the sheets. From here, my perspective would stay outside of the sheets, but I could feel and hear what was happening. I was eating her spaghetti. I once sat next to her in a bold move one class and after she said hi asked her point blank “would you eat spaghetti with me?”. I think she just chuckled or didnt respond or something. We didnt talk again for the rest of that year. Anyways stop talking about the binding of isaac no one wants to hear about this old game, talk about fortnite or somethin

    Labyrinth
I’m still not sure how this became my favorite podcast. I listened to WOFF, then bought Dark souls and listened to all of BSC, then stumbled - as one might by misfortune or a bad roll- on this podcast after hearing Will on another Dickfeed podcast (I’m leaving that typo). And then after a thousand other delightfully un-shareable episodes of ETG later I heard Labyrinth part 1 and 2. I can’t begin to describe to you how depressing it is knowing I finished my favorite podcast episodes before turning 40. Casey Kasem?!? Gary’s favorite Starbucks? Pure gold. What do I do now? I downloaded Binding if Isaac for the first time today, maybe that will help cheer me up. If not, I guess I’ll keep listening.

    Episode 980 Pt. 1
Where do you start a story which has no beginning? … … As someone who only played about 6 hours of Binding of Isaac I used to ask myself why I was listening to this podcast. The answer was obvious, I needed more podcast to listen to. Over time something changed though. The hosts departed from discussing the game in earnest and slowly slipped into something more beautiful and sinister. Some might call it an exercise in antagonistic improv but they would be off the mark. Others might compare it to the Choose Your Own Adventure books Gary enjoys so much and they would be closer. In a way though, the show itself has become a Rogue Lite in the sense that each run resets for a new adventure while accumulating meta perks and penalties from the sessions before. Throughout each episode every turn of phrase has the potential to deliver either a crushing blow to the psyche, a satisfying escape from a harrowing situation, or something in between and these accumulate like item pickups. As for thoughts on this episode (980 - Crypt Keeper Roleplay Pt 1) in particular? This is one of those runs where the pickups with good synergy just kept coming. Sorry to break it to you guys but you’re going to have to deal with someone enjoying your show with no plans to stop. And that’s a 5 star review/1600 SAT score.

    Middle school traumatic memory
I may be a bit late on this review, and it didn’t happen in middle school, but here you go. Similar to Gary, I told my emotionally distant father about a fight I had with a bully. In fifth grade, I was bullied by a kid named Adam. After my father hearing about the bullying, he told me to tell Adam that if he didn’t stop, my dad had given me permission to punch him. This advice came into play the next day as we were walking out of music class. Adam was walking behind me, trying to trip me. I turned around and said, “My dad told me I could punch you if you don’t knock it off.” He mockingly repeated what I’d just said, so I punched him in the jaw. He was dazed for a second, then realized that I’d actually done it. He punched me in my jaw. We stood in silence for a few seconds, then he walked away. He never bothered me again. No one around really paid attention, so neither of us got into any trouble at the school. My dad, however, blew up when I told him that I had listened to him and punched my bully. Only time I’ve ever thrown a punch. 4 stars for making me recall that memory.

    Second listen.
I’m writing this now going through my second listen of this podcast. The hosts are still trying to figure this out, and that’s just fine with me, I guess….who do I contact about compensation? Kole won’t reply to the messenger pigeons I’m sending him. 2 out of 5 S.T.A.R.S. And that’s a five star review from a five star insecure boy.

Tuesday is my favorite day of the week thanks to this show
I just got a new job that pays well, has a flexible schedule, and gives me work I feel passionate about. Plus, now my partner can finally quit their exceedingly stressful job that was causing serious mental health issues, and take the time they need to change careers. I’m excited and relieved beyond words. In case the sincerely sad reviews have lost their sting, I hope this contrarian and almost combatively positive review can cause a different kind of discomfort.

    Nantucket is in Massachusetts
Imagine my surprise to learn in this very moment that my favorite TV show Wings is set at an airport in Nantucket, Massachusetts - not Maine, as I have said erroneously over and over again on the podcast. This revelation is not embarrassing at all to me, and the look on Gary’s face as he hears this is not making it even worse.

    Concern
Hello I just started listening to this show about a month ago and I’m almost to episode 500. Love the show but I was concerned because at episode 481 it seems like Jill and Mary stroke out because they forgot there names, became less funny, and talked way too much about a game called the binding of Isaac. 5 stars

Streaks on the ITEM never mattered before, who cared? When you drop-kicked your ITEM as you came through the door, no one glared. But sometimes things get turned around and no one's spared-- All hands, look out bel-oh-ow there's a change in the ITEM quo-oo-oh-oh gonna need all the help that we can get; According to our new arrITEM life is more than mere survITEM and we just might live the good life yet. (insert a measured pause--not like a fake-out pause, just long enough to let the audience know that the author is ruminating on certain choices they have made with their limited time on this earth.) Jesus Christ, I downloaded iTunes for this? Do you know how convoluted it is do put iTunes on a Windows PC in 2024? I had use the MicroSoft Store--THE MICROSOFT STORE! Five stars, I guess.

YOU KNOW THEY SAY ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. BUT YOU LOOK AT ME AND YOU LOOK AT GARY BUTTERFIELD AND YOU CAN SEE THAT STATEMENT IS NOT TRUE! SEE NORMALLY IF YOU GO 1 ON 1 WITH ANOTHER PODCASTER YOU GOT A 50/50 CHANCE OF WINNING! BUT I'M A GENETIC FREAK AND I'M NOT NORMAL! SO YOU GOT A 25% AT BEST AT BEAT ME! AND THEN YOU ADD KOLE ROSS TO THE MIX, THE CHANCES OF WINNING DRASTIC GO DOWN! SEE THE 3 WAY AT DUCKSLAM YOU GOT A 33 1/3 CHANCE OF WINNING. BUT I, I GOT A 66 2/3 CHANCE OF WINNING CAUSE KOLE ROSS KNOWS HE CAN'T BEAT ME AND HE'S NOT EVEN GONNA TRY! SO GARY BUTTERFIELD YOU TAKE YOUR 33 1/3 CHANCE MINUS MY 25% CHANCE AND YOU GOT 8 1/3 CHANCE OF WINNING AT DUCKSLAM. BUT THEN YOU TAKE MY 75% CHANCE OF WINNING IF WE WAS TO GO 1 ON 1 AND THEN ADD 66 2/3 %. I GOT A 141 2/3 CHANCE OF WINNING AT DUCKSLAM! THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE AND THEY SPELL DISASTER FOR YOU AT DUCKSLAM!

    Great and Funny Show

    MBMBAM live show
Three years ago, MBMBAM came to Detroit on May 4th and tried to make it all Star Wars themed and it was super not funny. Then, after the intermission, they came out to the original Star Trek theme and said that since the first half wasn’t funny with Star Wars, maybe Star Trek would save it. It didn’t. Five stars. - David Oravec P.S.- Keep up the good work

    Butter Musings
At one point in the latest episode the podcaster called “Will” called his counterpart “Butter”. This was the first time hearing this man referred to as such, and I’m not sure how to handle it. Normally when I hear Butterfield it evokes a meadow where butter flows gently under a sun that is also made of butter. In addition to the inner peace this provides it also allows me to better understand the duality of the Gary, because he, like butter, tastes delightful but is harmful to your health. Please reconsider using “Butter” as it makes me think of this frightening duality without the comfort of the Field. 5 stars.

Did you guys ever notice how similar Lovecraft’s description of Keziah Mason traveling through space by using odd angles is to a no-clip glitch? Now whenever I think of Dreams in the Witch House I imagine her doing backward long jumps into the wall. Did HP Lovecraft speedrunning? Anyway, Guppy’s fine. I hope when you do the pivot you talk about a good game for a change. 5 stars.

They gave me a work phone!
So I gotta review my boys with some unsorted notes: This is one of the only shows that doesn’t go on a playlist, I play it right away. The person who talked about running to Guppy is not alone! I do it regularly. I’m like Kole, you see, what with the athleticism. Gary, Will is gaslighting you. Everyone I know has cranked it endlessly to at least one teacher. ALSO, something about Will’s mix makes it so he’s really quiet, then I turn it up and he’s screaming. I’m riding the volume like it’s a Nolan joint. I found this show pre-covid when I had just started playing Isaac. Now I’ve 100%’d Repentance. Did it help? Who can say. 6 stars.

World’s best game of psychological chicken!
Great show, eagerly awaiting the pivot, where Will & Gary take th game computer out back & stuff pizza bagels into the floppy disc slot until it comes up with a new podcast idea for each episode. Look, it’s a better idea than Annother podcast where two white guys review movies, sue me.

Listen a man try his damndest to convince you sex in video games is gross by bringing it up more than anyone you’ve ever heard, while also coming up with increasingly more elaborate reasons he has to shorten the recording session on a podcast he schedules due to scheduling. The other man just wants you to know things and spend time with his friend. 10/10

Everything to Umôrdhoth is a podcast covering every investigator, treachery, asset, event, and scenario in Arkham Horror: The Card Game. I’m over 900 episodes in, and they *finally* just started talking about Arkham Horror. 5 Stars. (Sincere part that you don’t have to read aloud: I’m not much of a tabletop guy myself, but hearing you guys talk up Arkham Horror LCG a number of weeks back really struck a chord. I hadn’t heard of it before, but I introduced it to my tabletop-loving friends, reciting your talking points as best I could. We’re 4 campaigns in now, and we can’t get enough. Thanks for bringing this into my life. It’s truly a joy that we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait to find out what the real pivot is.)

Will’s incessant whinging about his bald spot finally convinced me to talk to my doctor about mine. Six months of Rogaine and Minoxidil pills later and my bald spot is all but gone, which is the largest material impact a podcast has ever had in my life. Thanks guys!!

    Nothing Further For Guppy
Rosst Cohle and Willy Hughrelson (god's weakest soldier and the most agile contrarian since diogenes, respectively) discuss every class, aspect, strife specibus, and chess piece in the Sburb series of games. In the most affectionate tone possible, I would love to study Will in a laboratory setting. (Will, I am now speaking to you directly. Stand up from your desk and attempt to perform a back spin kick on the nearest wall fixture. Regardless of the consequences, do not explain if Gary asks what you have just done.)

I think this little anecdote sums it up
This morning while I was asleep, I had a dream that I was sitting on my couch with my controller in my hand looking at some game with a complicated menu when I heard Bane from Dark Knight Rises say to me, “Ah yes, the menu. This is where I want you spending all of your time in this game. Bad game design is my mark. I was born in it.” Then I woke up because I had to pee really bad. Anyway, this show is a lot like that experience.

    I didn’t write this
I asked ChatGPT to review Everything to Guppy. At first, it pretended like it hadn’t heard of the show but when I gave it a brief description, it produced the following: Title: "Everything to Guppy" Podcast Review Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Everything to Guppy," hosted by the charming yet hilariously contentious duo of Will and Gary, is a delightfully eccentric exploration into the "Binding of Isaac" video game universe that frequently veers into the territory of impromptu improvisation. These digressions, while atypical for a gaming podcast, infuse the series with a unique personality that keeps the listeners guessing and eager for more. Will and Gary's love-hate dynamic provides an unexpected heart to the podcast. The seemingly harsh exchanges, cleverly laced with mutual affection, add a peculiar warmth to the show. It's as if you're listening in on two close friends bickering about their favorite pastime, which is surprisingly endearing. While listeners might come for the in-depth discussion of "Binding of Isaac," they'll stay for Will and Gary's wit and camaraderie. Their ability to morph potentially tedious gaming commentary into a comedic improv show is a testament to their creativity and rapport. That said, if you're seeking a pure gaming podcast with focused, consistent analysis, this might not be your cup of tea. But if you're up for an entertaining, irreverent, and unpredictable ride, "Everything to Guppy" could be your next podcast obsession. In conclusion, "Everything to Guppy" is a quirky, offbeat podcast that successfully blends game commentary with comedy. Despite their incessant 'mean' banter, it's evident that Will and Gary share a deep-seated bond that shines through, making for an engaging and entertaining listen.

    RIP Boaty
I feel I’ve been mentioned on this podcast too many times to fairly review it, so instead, this is a review of the Will’s Tears of the Kingdom twitch stream VOD from May 20th, 2023. ( double-u double-u double-u dot twitch dot tee-vee slash plumberduck ). My favorite part is when John had to stop Will from mindlessly producing a symbol of hate by glueing together rail-hooks. Five stars to the capture card, I look forward to more physics-based hijinx in the future. Not live, mind you; I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Will Stream Twitch Chat.

You Guys Talked About Tom Sawyer Recently
You guys talked about Tom Sawyer recently, and it brought back memories of when I played Samuel Langhorn Clemens (Will I think you know that’s Mark Twain but make it seem like Gary doesn’t know) in a 4th grade play. My teacher wanted me to play him like wisecracking bad boy but I played him completely deadpan because it was the only way I could remember the lines. Anyways, eagerly anticipating the PIVOT! 5 stars!

Edit: We’re So Different You and I
Edit:After listening to the latest episode, Will sounded sad and I worry I’ll upset him. As penance, I’ve edited my review to instead be hurtful to Gary. I hope you find the changes satisfactory. I started listening to “Everything to Guppy” after hearing the term “guppy energy” for the umpteenth time. I was morbidly fascinated by the show when I realized I saw a lot of similarities between myself and GARY. Then GARY started eating toenails, boogers, and earwax and I could no longer relate to the freakish ogre. Love the show! GARY, stop eating yourself!

Great Podcast for Family Road Trips! (when not listening to Josh Groban)
Visited scenic Behehenddrehndenehdehenen with my wife and our daughter Garina, whose birth I announced via review on this show about a year ago! We packed up our station wagon with Pepsi, excuse me…. A bunch of snacks, and our finest galoshes. I feel like I’m forgetting something. Oh yeah, The mighty gubernatorial beast is truly a sight to behold and has ensured our youngling will follow the rules, lest she be grabbed by the c-r-a-b. We had a lovely dinner at the Behehenddrehndenehdehenen steak? house. Backpackula?

If there was a crying blonde woman, it would be an Ari Aster movie.
People say watching the movie "Hereditary" is like being yelled at by your loved ones for 90 minutes. Most people turn off the tv and go back to real life. However, if you have never gotten out of that anxious "Fight or Flight" state and would like to alternate it with some sad resignation, this show goes for 800 episodes and that's not encluding the Cats and The Boy content. "Enjoy" Gary and Will as they take turns doing emotional violence to each other and then having to stop and check in because they had an empathy attack. I'm emotionally damaged enough to be marathoning this entire show. 500 eps in, I still don't know what the binding of Isaac is, but I will work hard to stay that way.
