I miss new episodes and hope this podcast will continue. He’s the best orator in the sailing space and his conversations feel natural. I’ve learned so much from him interviewing people in all aspects of sailing!

I listen to a lot of Sailing podcasts and I really enjoyed this one. It was honest, heartfelt, and thorough. I feel like I learned a lot just by listening. I will listen again.

I love Chris, he has the best most authentic boating podcast in my opinion. I'm even an evil powerboater/trailer/fisherman and I still like it.

Great podcast for a greenhorn “Young Salt” like myself who has been bitten by the sailing bug. Avid lifelong boater in the Puget Sound, but relatively new to sailing, I appreciate the even-keel stories of cruisers, lessons learned, and everything in between as I’m trying to absorb as much as possible from the toil of others. Has a comfortable and genuine conversational format that goes with the flow. Thanks for the education and effort Chris - keep up the good work!

I am a sailor and admit that I am biased towards sailing oriented podcasts. They give me an opportunity to hear other sailors perspectives, learn from their adventures and misadventures, and do a little dreaming between my own trips away from land. The Bonny Boat is a little unique in that the focus isn’t ocean sailing or hard core racing or sailing in distant lands, it is the kind of sailing that is achievable by normal people who have the passion and drive to do it, Chris narrates for the most part with his wife, Ryan, as an important second voice. The stories are interesting and they are very open about their own limitations and how they deal with them. I’ve made it through their adventure down the ICW and back so far and am very much looking forward listening to the interviews they have in the later episodes. Kudos to Chris and Ryan, please keep them coming at least until spring. :)

Chris’s blog - and later, his podcast - inspired us to buy our first sailboat and start sailing. I think many others who take the time to listen will be equally encouraged. Lots of good information and insight for the newbie skipper.

Chris starts his podcasts with the some great audio of an expertly executed tack in a small sailboat—anyone who has sailed can appreciate that! He tells an honest story of his experiences refitting and old sailboat with his wife (who makes occasional appearances on the podcast) and cutting their teeth on the ICW. They both are very good speakers and the audio quality is excellent. I look forward to getting the notification of new episodes so I can zone out in my commute dreaming and scheming follow in their path... Keep up the excellent work!

A very pleasant and casual depiction of an amazing journey. Many of us only dream of this type of adventure. It feels good to hear a good story without all the hype and bravado. Thoroughly enjoyable!
