Love the new show, I wasn’t sure it was you guys after the rebrand. I was curious why it’s Parkography and not Parkology?

I love this podcast! Whenever I go to a national park, I look up episodes about it and play them as I drive there to get excited and learn about the history behind the park. I also LOVE the monthly news episode and feel so informed. Highly recommend!!!

I have truly enjoyed listening to every episode of this podcast. Even though I’ve visited National Parks across the country for 50 years, I’ve learned so much! Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to the next new episode.

This podcast is very well done. The content is well researched, entertaining stories from our nation’s incredible National Parks. The audio performance by Jason makes this an easy listen. His tone and pace are on point. I listen to a lot of podcasts and this one has quickly risen to the top of my favorites. Keep up the great work.

For the amount of content the ads are overwhelming. Didn’t use to be like this. Ads pop up in the middle of a sentence of the content. It’s a shame because I really use to enjoy this podcast. Not worth it!

I love the content of the show, but it seems like more and more of each episode is given over to ads, which is a bit silly for a 15 minute episode to have 5 minutes of ads. I get that ads pay for the show, but it’s really jarring for the host to be in the middle of a topic, then cut to an ad with no warning, and then just resume the topic like there was no interruption. If you’re going to have ads, put them all at the beginning or the end.

This podcast is impressively informative. The information provides historical context and provides a foundation to entice listeners to make visiting the parks a goal! I love the updates on our parks. Jason Epperson’s clear and pleasant voice brings everything together perfectly.

This is a spectacular podcast that will entertain and educate you all at the same time. Episode 118. The Nine took my breathe away. Raised on TV I just assumed the 9 black boys and girls who walked through those school doors in Central HS in Little Rock, AK had a happy ending. Kids got to know them, teachers looked out for them. Au Contraire. Listen and learn.

This is an exceptional podcast! Jason and Abigail are amazing hosts, and the writers they work with to develop each episode are exceptional. I’ve gone back and listened to almost all of the episodes since finding the podcast about a year ago, and the production quality and information are consistently top-notch. They also do a great job of incorporating a variety of topics, from biodiversity and biology-themed episodes, to general overviews of specific parks, all the way to historical accounts of events that took place in the parks and at monument sites. They also cover news in the national parks, which is a great way to learn about what’s happening in the parks today. I appreciate their dedication to keeping the podcast educational and entertaining, and I look forward to what they’ll do next. Thank you for an amazing listen!

A soothing, informative and welcome reminder of the beauty and ferocity outdoors.

Interesting historical accounts are what I enjoy, but the podcast veers off to a direction at times that sounds like the Ntl Park Service doesn’t actually want visitors. There’s an elitist tone towards tourists or visitors who can only spend a day at a National Park or visit the gift shops which can be off-putting.

This episode was a favorite!! Such a good spooky episode. I loved the writing, it both made me jump and cry. 🖤🖤

I like this show however it could just be me. But when I listen I have to speed the podcast up. I feel like it’s to drawn out like music and talking wise or just the combination of the two or other factors in some episodes. I feel like the guy talks normally while the girl takes her time. I also feel like some of the episodes have woke and political content surrounding some of the topics like some with statues or updates with some of the parks yeah I could see some of it but some could be left out

Well done Jason and Abby! We couldn’t expect less from creators who know what they are doing and strive for excellence. Keep up the amazing work!

More than facts and figures, this podcast is a heartfelt valentine to our national parks that is an altogether affirming listen.

From national monuments, historic sites, all the way up to the parks, this is a must have app for any national park service lover. We use it for great in depth background before we visit any NPS site! Well written and thought provoking, Abby, Jason, and their team do a great job with this.

Love the storytelling about the national parks. Each episode picks just one, small piece of the story. Never get tired of listening.

Jason I just visited this fort one week ago, great information about the fort. The prisoners cell are scary small and dark.

I enjoy the interesting story content of each National Park you present. Please consider: Less words and a slower, conversational vocal pace. The inclusion of natural sound and sound bites of others.

This podcast reflects much research and utilizes highly professional narration to deliver a very informative podcast. The hosts have well-trained voices that are easy to follow. This podcast is a true asset to the NPS.

I hate to be critical of a podcast that I enjoy for free and where I know a lot of hard work goes into the production, but I’d like to offer an observation. While Abigail’s voice is rich and perfect for voiceover, her presentation is often hard for me to listen to. No matter what the content, she delivers it in the same super dramatic, highly enunciated way. This week’s episode about the Songs of Joshua Tree is a great example. A lighter more whimsical reading of this woman’s writing would have been more pleasant (my opinion of course). There have been times, like this week, where I haven’t finished the episode because of this issue. I love that you two tag team this podcast, but maybe it would add variety to have Abigail do the intro and Jason do the narration? Just an observation and I very much hope this review doesn’t offend.

This podcast is my go to when I’m traveling but I find the woman narrator harder and harder to listen to. Her pace and voice take distract me from the content. I know it’s just a personal thing but I’m looking for another National Park podcast because of it.

I cannot give 5 stars to a show that can’t put at least 20 minute shows together.

It’s been a hard year. This podcast makes me feel like I’ve taken some deep breaths in some of my favorites places, and many more I’d like to visit one day. It’s where I go when I need to return to calm and peace. Great stories, writing, reading. Thanks, Abigail and Jason! You’ve been lifesavers.

One of things on our families check list is to visit the National Parks. Being from the Midwest we only have a handful of Parks near us so we sometimes live vicariously through Jason and his lovely family. Jason presents well researched information that provides the listeners with content about the National Parks in general to his own experience at a specific park. Jason spoke recently of the National Park Master Plan which I would have never known about until he brought it up and described how these change will improve the National Parks as well as for us travelers. You will enjoy listening to Jason. He is a great resource. Well presented.

I don’t know where they find all these amazing stories about America and the National Parks, but every single one is required listening. You just don’t know what you’re missing.

This podcast is great for people who want to learn a little about the history of the National Parks, even if you don’t have the chance to visit them yet. The short format makes it a great listen while doing chores, driving to work, or taking a quick escape from the grind.

Not only is the information incredibly useful but Jason makes the information easy to digest and engaging for everyone.
