cmboycePulls me in and leaves me wanting moreSo many great horror stories made better by the story telling. My only complaint is they have endings.
-

WobblinPossum61Horror? Comedy? Yes!I started listening when Jason Hill was the host and I fell deep into the rabbit hole of Horror Hill. Recommend 13 outta 10 for sure. One day, and I missed any explanation if any was given, a new voice emerged from the darkness. Enter Eric Peabody. I loved the show so much that I couldn’t walk away without giving it the chance and respect to see how the show would go moving forward. Needless to say, I still haven’t missed an episode. I’d love a visit from Jason as a guest (at least) host sometime soon. But Mr. Peabody; Bravo sir! Jason Hill left big shoes to fill. You’ve proven yourself to have large feet for shoe filling. Keep bring the Creep and I’ll keep having nightmare fueled sleep. And love you for every single one. Much love and respect!!!

beaforConfusedSome of these stories are truly disgusting not chilling or scary at all just gross

Frankincense 19Happy to hear KDA againRespectfully Billie, you’re not a nerd, you’re just a troll. Dale & Earl are among my favorite all time characters. Eric is new to D&E, he will find their voices. Thank you Eric for stepping into those big trucker boots! I look forward to part 2
-
billie the nerdDale and EarlEither devise your own southern accent for Dale and Earl or bring Jason back to read Dale and Earl because that was not good at all. Eric Peabody that was just bad ...just really bad. Please don’t read anymore Dale and Earl unless you gonna come up with your own voice for them because that was the worst.... respectfully. No more Dale and Earl for u.

R@00.5Great ContentI really enjoy the stories. The voice work is awesome. I have the podcast running the background while I work; the stories really make the day fly by. One of the best Horror anthology podcast on apple.

moredecayMore JasonNeed more Jason Hill reading out these stories!
-
DirtMaGertJason Hill you are missed. This is one of my favorite podcastsThe best. Always a weekly go to.
-
decentlydopeJason hill is missedI love listening while working and the stories are still great just miss Jason voice . Thanks for still offering great stories
-
jennferdRJ & Dez VampiresBy chance are there any sequels to this story?!?!
-
Rynni DNot what it use to beThe narrator’s rambles on and his impressions of young adults and kids grates on my ears. I really can’t listen to this anymore. Too easy to zone out on the stories. The whole CTFDN has gone downhill. Drew Blood is the only thing keeping me around.
-
Heather3231985Worse and worse the only direction they’re goingYou might as well rename the podcast to Eric‘s stupid story playground. Y’all should’ve just shut the show down after Jason left.
-
hhendriiiWould be great if…Honestly I wasn’t able to get too far into the first episode because the background music is just as loud as his voice!! The “ambient” is missing in the background sounds. Unfortunately that’s just too distracting to me. I wish he’d get a new someone to edit the sound because whoever’s assigned to that task now ain’t doing it
-
Mz_steelerfaceBest podcastLove this podcast best horror stories ever! I love that they’re longer than 20 minutes.
-
L@ugh/CryEyes of AmityvilleThis will be a 3 parter. I’m loving the first installment. Always been a big fan of this clean horror program.

grneiesthis is real talent on a high end scaleMy my this is high end stories on a grand scale. Mature writing, holds your attention from beginning to end. This is not for those sensitive people who are offended by intense sexual and down and dirty language. it’s critical to create the atmosphere in such master pieces as knuckle supper. Jason Hill puts you right in the the life of these characters. It’s very shocking, it covers a lot of stuff that’s part real life with that extra special surprise of horror mixed in. Grit your teeth and go for it. I prefer Long stories podcasts, and Jason Hill delivers. Couldn't wait to devour another one the chapters, Bravo!!

icycle086Not Bad but Dear God the AdsThe host Eric Peabody does a nice job narrating and is easily the best part of this podcast, but dear god, the amount of ads. I understand the nature of wanting to direct listeners to your Patreon, but guys come on now. The vast amount of time spent on ads mid story and the incredibly odd spots that are chosen to break for said ads make the podcast almost unlistenable at times. Good job Eric, keep up the great work and producers of the show, at least be more reasonable about when you break for seven minutes plus of ads mid story.
-
ZsenineGreat but for how they do the adsOne of the better horror podcasts. The narrator has a great voice for reading, his voice is distinctive without being distracting. If it weren’t for the ads, it would be 5 stars. Don’t get me wrong— I understand why there are ads, but the placement of the ads, how they’re inserted into the story so as to cause the most disruption is just obnoxious. And they’re often louder than the stories, so they hurt my ears since I listen with headphones. It really wouldn’t hurt anybody if they put in a soft warning noise so you knew the next line was going to be an ad and maybe lowered the volume to at least match the story. Not only do I not have the money to subscribe to all these podcasts, I hate being bullied into it with obnoxious ads placements.

1145giaOMG, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING NOT LISTENING TO THIS PODCAST!!!!Omg, I love this podcast soooo much it is literally like the best podcast ever I love how are you sleep do it if you like horror stories, then you would fall asleep in like 30 seconds!!
-
Delgado1911Get rid of the recommendationsIt’s a good podcast but they put in a recommended podcast at the very end that has nothing to do with what I’m listening to.
-
Ana KarinNo horror here! This is definitely NOT a horror story podcast. The stories are mostly suspense, or creepy but not horror. The stories have a Twilight Zone feel, very detailed (some overly descriptive) and then leave you hanging with endings left to interpretation, or very anticlimactic. Brief example, kid goes into an abandoned mansion in his neighborhood, and can’t get out. That’s it, no horror. I gave it a shot, but it’s not for me. I’m sure others will enjoy. If you want real horror, listen to A Ghost Ruined My Life.

MgraceM8791Every story brings me in so deep!Love Erik Peabody’s voice and all other voice characters. Intriguing, spooky, creepy stories!!
-
Spectre17Where is Jason? Is anyone able to tell if Mr. Hill is narrating stories elsewhere? This is not Horror Hill. This is Scary Tales with Eric Peabody. He is a great ensemble character, and can carry a story or two, but I have listened to Jason Hill and EP is no Jason Hill.
-
Fun for lots of hoursSo much better when Jason narratedSorry Erik, I don’t know who picks the stories but Bleaker and Bleeker was the straw that broke the camel’s back…15 minutes into the story and I’m ready to stab myself in the ear from the droning boredom of the story and this isn’t the first story like this. Jason Hill’s story selections had my enthralled with interest! There’s nothing creepy, chilling, scary or even remotely interesting about 3/4ths of the stories you choose. I hope your story choices get better or I’m out. Sorry to slam you like this but 15 minutes into a story and nothing happening is sad.
-
JessicaCPAI’m totally hooked!I’m totally hooked on Erik Peabody and the Horror Hill cast. The stories are great, and the voice actors are top notch. High quality from start to finish. Keep up the good work!
-
DiamondJ79It’s good enoughI really really miss Jason and wish we had been given a clue that he’d be leaving the show for good. His delivery was so on point and that’s not to take anything away from Erik, but dude needs to stop copying Jason’s style. Or trying to I should say. The way Jason told a tale literally made me feel creeped out and I loved it. Erik is a fine storyteller in his own right, but this is definitely no longer Horror Hill.
-
fractal broccoliHorror HillI’ve taken to listening to horror hill at bedtime. It is calming listening to good stories and this podcast has plenty. I recommend this to anyone looking for good stories and fabulous storytelling!
-
laradelocke86Great stories but there is an issue with editingWhen listening on Apple Podcasts, parts will repeat or a random section will be played at the very start with no context. Often entire sentences are just repeated multiple times. It’s a little off putting. I would also like to say the latest story and it’s descriptions of teenage girls is disgusting and inappropriate. I switched off. It sounds pedophilic. Do better
-
Nicole HidalgoSO COOLI love it because it is vary GOOD
-
RhodesyBLong time listenerUnlike its counterparts, Horror Hill gets better with time and never jumps the shark (like so many other horror anthology pods). Prime example, season 8, ep 21- “The Mansion” is perfection. To those who make this show, Keep up the incredible work! To those reading this review, follow right now!
-
DpPodOkThis isn’t Horror Hill anymore. Eric is great and all. Just, the stories are lacking and Jason’s delivery was just better. I’ll keep listening. But I’ll also keep stopping halfway (if I get that far) through if the stories don’t pick up.
-
Draged0Nice commercialsYou lost me at Bud Light. Good luck supporting that
-
AirikagPreludes are way to longThis is great podcast. Amazing stories but often (every time) I am skipping through the very long and unnecessary prelude. Just get into the story. It always explains itself. We don’t need the spoilers.

BubblesnBostonVery uniqueI have been enjoying listening to this podcast and will continue. I have already told several friends about this podcast. We tell anybody and everybody to listen.
-
papanaqChange the NameI started listening in 2019 and loved it immediately. I lament the loss of Jason Hill. I think a renaming of the podcast could be called “Spooky Mound” or “Sort of Scary Bump”. The stories and narration just don’t carry the same intensity as they did. It really isn’t Horror Hill anymore. Please rename the podcast!

LoLoSmirnoff6/14/23A Familiar End was Awesome! I wanted to do bodily harm on Caroline. Glad she got her cumumpims✍️. Great choice.

labratRNLove This ShowHorror Hill satisfies my love for thrills and chills. Completely quenches my desire for horror! Keep all the spooky coming please.
-
Hazel BellhopThe older gentlemanLove the show, but GOOD LORD, the most recent story needed an editor. Or maybe it was a drinking game
-
KingDiamondRulesWhyYou should rename this podcast “Horror Peabody” .obviously Jason is never coming back.
-
ChakapotatoBoooooring9 minutes in and the story hasn’t even started
-
StarkRavingPeteShould call this “Ho-hum Hill”Ever since the new guy started, the show went down “hill”.
-
DiscosqueakyflyMehI made it halfway through season three and all told maybe found about four good stories. Really falls apart at season three with long, boring stories that don’t make sense. At least the dime store crypt-keeper is mildly entertaining.
-
runner4life86WHERE IS JASON??IMO, ever since Jason left, the stories are not nearly as scary…I remember first finding this and literally being too scared to sleep or having nightmares…& now I can barely make it through most. The narrator isn’t bad, good voice, etc but the content has really gone down hill. Also, I don’t understand how they can just never really explain if Jason Hill, the original narrator and creator, is ever actually returning? If this is to continue, I think we should get answers and please up the horror level again.
-
Jenni RottenSubscribe already! The absolute best voice in horror!
