As a longtime fan and listener, I have to commend this show for its incredible blend of humor, insight, and cultural commentary. I’ve enjoyed it so much that it became my morning ritual—I’d tune in on the podcast every day and encourage my friends to do the same. The way it touches on music, pop culture, and hip-hop culture, all wrapped in hilarious banter, has always felt fresh and engaging. I especially love the segments featuring the Guru and hot topics They’re truly standout moments. However, I’ve noticed a shift lately that’s been disappointing. The focus on important pop culture conversations—ones that elevate and reflect the richness of Black culture—has taken a backseat. Instead, the conversations seem to circle endlessly around one subject: Drake. To be clear, it’s not a discussion of his artistry or his place in hip-hop. It’s turned into what feels like daily critiques, bordering on outright disdain. And while critique is fair and often necessary, this constant focus feels more like bullying than thoughtful discourse. There’s so much happening in our culture worth celebrating and dissecting—albums like Kendrick’s, stories of Black excellence, and other dynamic moments shaping the culture today. Other platforms have successfully struck this balance, diving into nuanced discussions about Black culture in ways that feel inclusive and uplifting. Unfortunately, this show seems stuck in a repetitive cycle of drake, and it’s losing the spark that once made it so engaging. No one likes a pile on. I used to tune in daily with excitement. Now, when I see Drake listed as a topic, I skip the episode. And lately, it’s happening so often that I’ve started to explore other shows to fill the void. It pains me to say this, but if the current trend continues, I may have to unfollow. I hope the show can get back to the vibrant, multifaceted discussions that made it so special in the first place. With love and respect, A loyal listener hoping for a return to form.

I just want Hot97 to know that if they take Ebro off the air because he has been speaking facts and educating the people all these years I will never listen again. The best morning show is this one and if I could subscribe and pay for it I would. I have been listening to EITM for YEARS!! I listen EVERYDAY! Live & the Podcast!!! I moved out of the country last year & STILL listen loyally.. I love the perspective of everyone.. especially Kas-1… this show has great chemistry and truthfulness to themselves.. please make Ebro & Kas-1 gurus!! They are truly solid in their opinion and advice.. One more thing, the after hours live that you just dropped is the MOVE!! It’s realer if that’s possible.. Because all of you guys are real on the morning show anyway.. I think the after hour live show allows for them to get deeper.. Anyways.. I really enjoy the Ebro In The Morning Show especially the Curved segment. I was a faithful daily listener but truly not a fan of Whitish Wednesday so I’ll listen to something else. But the thing that’s extremely disappointing and even annoying is how they play the same songs over and over again daily. I heard Cass One say that he plays what is hot in the clubs. Well I never want to go to those clubs. You guys will make a person HATE a song.

Peters microphone is super Loud and no one checks it He runs over the show with just what he wants to when Ebro isn’t there. He has his microphone loud and Laura’s as well. Really hard to listen

HUGE fan of the show since I could remember. Ebro and Peter are arguably the best radio hosts in the country. I enjoy Laura’s presence and contribution to the show but she’s consistently “running her Googles” while ON THE AIR. It never appears she has all the facts or a well presented report on news or topics. She does her version of “ughh” on the air often and it comes off as if she’s disinterested. So many time Ebro so nicely corrects her reporting or is required to add context to her reports to keep interesting content going. Truly love you Laura but a polished approach would go so far.

This morning show is great when Ebro refrains from interrupting and focusing too much on politics. The moments dedicated to hip-hop are enjoyable and keep the show engaging. However, there's room for improvement in balancing topics to cater to all listeners. Overall, a okay experience for hip-hop enthusiasts.

I’m a New Yorker who hasn’t lived in NY is quite a while. The show feels like home. It’s quintessential NY, Hot 97, love the show, love the people, hate the adds (this is new) and how they do abruptly come on but I get it, it’s not a podcast. It’s a radio show edited and out onto a podcast platform.

I can’t stand how Ebro cuts off his co-hosts when they’re in mid-sentence. He does is to Laura and Peter all the time!!! It’s so disrespectful and annoying. They have valuable thoughts and comments to share too! Sometimes the co-hosts will be in the middle of making a point or telling a story and Ebro interjects as if their views don’t matter. I enjoy EVERYONE on the show…even Ebro. Sometimes he needs to shaddup though and practice listening. Shani, hit the button!

If the east coast bias wasn’t strong on the show I could listen everyday I love every person on the show i listen for the information and knowledge.

I used to enjoy listening to this podcast during my night shift at work but it has become propaganda noise for the government and Ebro says a lot of racist remarks against other non black and brown people.

I grew up listening to Elvis Duran and the Z Morning Zoo but eventually came across Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg’s morning show and switched over. After Cipha became a disgrace and the show became Ebro in the Morning, I immediately loved the new show. I love everyone on the show. My wife who does not listen tells me she sees why I like them so much because the crew seems to genuinely like each other. I’m not a hip hop head so the podcast is perfect for me because I really love the discussions they have. It’s a great balance of making sure the important news is reported as well as keeping the show fun. I wish I could attend one of their shows and just chill in the corner and observe it all.

I hate that they stopped uploading the full episode and now break it into the segments 🙄

The show hands down. Informative, real news, real people. Just get rid of the Parler advertisement!
