If you are looking for a high-budget, well-run, hilarious, and timely LoL podcast, this is the one for you. The hosts are big names in the scene, and the production value is unmatched. It’s succinct, on schedule, and fun. Definitely give it a listen if you’re interested in NA LoL esports.

Sad It is honestly so sad I have watched League of Legends for nine years and this year I haven’t watched them at all because I am sick of this region going to world and getting embarrassed every single year these guys work so hard and just want one team to do well but these children cannot go to the world stage and actually perform

The Dive is the best League podcast. I watch LCS so that I’ll have context when I watch The Dive, not the other way around. If Riot ever gets rid of The Dive I will never watch LCS again.

This show has the perfect mix of talking about the lcs, LoL meta, champion talk, other regions, and whether or not MarkZ is on time (he’s not). Would rate 6/5 if i could. Thank you to Honda for giving me something to look forward to every Tuesday!

Imagine this: I’m in my plat promos, I’m a jungle Main, and it’s game 5. The tension is rising, I dont know what to pick anymore because my nocturne got banned and I’m bronze on every other champ. I’m panicking, thinking maybe it’s time to bust out my tank Syndra build, but luckily the dive was playing on my other monitor and mark z starts talking about how busted lulu jungle is. What ever happened to the shorts and skits the LCS team produced outside of vidocs? Like Pocket Picks, Teamfight Breakdown, Markz and Azael diagnosing teams, Prohpet Crumbz?

You know what makes a good podcast a great one? A solid academy system. In spite of sickness and vacation plaguing the main roster, the Dive was able to integrate up and comer David “Phreak” Turley who is known for his in depth research on micro (gold efficiency). There are some cohesion issues with Kobe and MarkZ likely due to an unnecessary amount of puns so I wouldn’t be surprised if Phreak drops back to Academy in favor of the world Champion caliber Azael. I’ll rank each of the starting 3 on a few categories to help you understand the quality of the podcast: Azael Rank: S+ The man knows the game. He uses in-depth analysis and knowledge of macro to teach their low elo audience. You may not know this but he’s a literal world champion. Kobe Rank: S Top tier personality, insane jungle knowledge, former pro, has never-ending faith in NA every year for worlds, and an uncanny ability to keep Phreak in check. MarkZ Rank: S- Top tier memer with solid analysis. Known for is scrappy commentary that somehow we always end up agreeing with…

This show needs more Phreak, but I’ll settle for some Azael.

Keep up the great work 5/5 for the Dive (Read if Mark is not back) I’m glad Mark is gone and has been replaced by the better more talented Phreak. Keep up the hot takes Phreak. But seriously I love you guys. At this point I watch the LCS to keep up with the Dive instead of watching the Dive to keep up with the LCS.

The quality of the content is great. But would be the first league podcast that I recommend because Honestly I Don’t fully like the direction this podcast seems to be going in. They seem to care more about how can we cram as many sponsors segments into a podcast, even if it doesn’t bring anything to the quality of the cast. For example, why do I care every week who the MVP of the league is. At most it should be brought up 3 or 4 times a split. But I understand that Riot needs to pay employees, so I get why they are doing it. Also if you are going to accept voice messages from the public, can someone take a few minutes and cut out the “OMG love the cast guys….(pause) Been listening for years…..(pause) what to thank you for all that you do(another pause).now here is my question “ it would make for a more enjoyable listening experience. As a listener I don’t care that other people “enjoy the cast” because I am already enjoying it. In fact leaving in all of that makes me enjoy it less. It just seems like the castors don’t screen the questions beforehand possibly because you have a producer. Same thing goes for the written questions. P.S. I doubt you would read this on the cast, but you have my permission to not read it on broadcast. I would much rather have a high quality podcast to listen to than have my post be read on broadcast.

The dive is the best podcast bar none, and up until I started listening to them, I refused to give in to the podcast trend. So thanks guys, now I’m a filthy pleb who listens to podcasts. Keep up all the good work, and bring phreak on more, could easily replace markZ and improve an already amazing podcasts with his much loved puns and humor.

I have been listening to this podcast for years and it’s pretty clear to me that these chaps know what they are talking about. The only thing that might spice it up a bit is if everyone grew their hair out to like like Captain Flowers during the Pandemic. Would rate 7/5 stars. (Azael excluded of course, much too classy).

Hey guys, I’ve been playing league since season 3 and listening to The Dive since season episode 1 and would just like to share my appreciation of you guys and the podcast. I’m around your guys age at 29 and unfortunately over the years my original group of friends who played and talked about league has dissolved down to just me and I find myself starting to lose interest in both playing the game and, more recently, watching LCS. I haven’t had anyone to discuss league or pro play with for the past couple years and your podcast has been the next best thing and has been one of the biggest reasons why I stay interested in league. Wish I could discuss league with you guys but just listening to your weekly discussions is the next best thing. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Listen, I know the meta is to shut down MarkZ, but I’m not here to do that. I want to put up Kobe for President. Azael is Canadian so he’s automatically out even though he’s likely closest to the age requirement. Mark is…well he’s Mark; need I explain further? Kobe has the most hype and is the most lighthearted person on this show and on the broadcast for LCS. He is not the loudest voice in the room, but I believe in his leadership skills. Hey guys love The Dive, been listening to every episode for a couple years now. Your analysis is top notch and I appreciate the effort y’all put in every week. One thing I would like to see more of is in depth analysis on specific, game changing situations in matches. Other than that, Kobe I’ve loved watching your growth over the years and hearing that you take care of yourself mentally and physically (meditation, working out, etc.). You’re one of my favorite casters and I swear to God if you leave us like Jatt did I will never forgive you. Cat for Kobe!

Unfortunately I am already at work by 5 am so I don't get to catch it first thing but I get to listen to it on my way home. I love getting a little bit of LCS and League in general in my day even if I don't have the time to play. The comedy is always a treat and I appreciate everyone having distinctive voices for those of us who do listen to it as a podcast and don't get to watch.

Kobe said happy Tuesday but it was MONDAY! Still a good show though. But I want my Dive to be timed correctly for more immersion!

5 star podcast, no doubt, but am I to believe that Kobe has the time to care for a real houseplant, or is it Travis’? Markz has a suspicious number of books in his background, like not enough for someone who actually loves books, way too staged. Where is the Piltover tavern custom zoom background? The Dive is the best league show around, I’ve been listening to it while I jog for years now! Love what you all do! I can’t stand listening to Hotline League because Travis’s constant co-host is very, very subpar.

EU fans always say EU>NA but in reality it’s NA > EU, because they don’t have Kobe, Azael or Mark. They’ve been carrying LCS for years, and now they’re carrying my days with this league podcast. Jokes aside, great personalities to listen to, specially if you follow LCS. I love these guys. My favorite podcast so far.

I wish my parents would have played The Dive when I slept as a baby instead of Mozart. Probably would have been better for my long term development.

Overall this is my favorite league podcast and I have been listening for a few years now. I recommend this podcast to any that is interested in the Lcs. I appreciate you all’s commitment to stay cat friendly on the pod. Unlike some other shows Mark participates in, this podcast really sticks to their commitment to stay cat friendly. Shout out to Kobe for those great bans! You should start a solo fantasy league podcast in your free time, so we can all learn from your superior skills! Also btw, I agree with the 9-5 review. As someone who lives on the best coast, an 8am release is just not early enough.

Great analysis, witty banter, fun while informative, and covers a broad range of topics. Wish they did more episodes. There never seems to be quite enough time to cover EVERYTHING as in depth as they’d like. So why not just do an episode every week instead of only when there is about to be pro games? I’d certainly listen.

Started Listening to the podcast a couple of months ago, and it is GREAT. It catches you up on the pro matches, and is updated frequently.

Getting into watching competitive play, and the insights here are amazing!! I wouldn’t mind a follow up on the twister game if bets are lost though. Come on boys, gotta make the gamble fun for all!!

The Dive is an easy listen for the esports wonk. It takes an hour to discuss the lax and update us on the patch. The three star rating is because it’s the official riot games podcast for NA. While I don’t believe they needed to touch on the controversy it factors into how much I want to recommend this to others.

You like league, you know the people talking...like, makes sense you’d like it.

The Dive is great for knowing the going-ons of competitive LoL. All of the analysts are great at talking about the teams and speculating the impacts of new patches on the meta. I am partial towards Jatt because I am blown away by his knowledge every episode. If you want to keep up with LoL, this is a great podcast to do so

For someone who doesn’t play the game anymore, this podcast is fantastic because the hosts are both entertaining and insightful!

This blows any other LoL podcast out of the water. The hosts are true professionals and not just random LoL nerds talking about the game (looking at you, ESPN esports). They are legitimately great broadcasters. Hope the frequency of episodes increases.
