Becca 4118Just the vibe I needAt a time in my life where finding out who I truly am, and the exploration into my spirituality has hit really hard. I find this podcast to be so enlightening and supportive! I crave knowing who I am more than ever and I feel as though listening even early on has helped me evolve and grow which is “ the purpose “

Angela PhxPractical Steps to Level UpI have followed Allie for several years, through the transformation of decluttering to helping women become the best versions of themselves. Allie provides practical steps that any woman can take to level up their lives and be the person they know they can be.

JessicaWhat!?!Change of heartThankful for the truth and life Allie speaks into women. She is real, honest, and so encouraging. This is how I felt about the podcast in the early years. It helped my motherhood and personal life in amazing ways. Unfortunately though, it has changed. I understand people go through changes, seasons, and “level up” when they have a bigger audience and money, but I feel like a lot of the topics that are talked about aren’t about minimalism anymore. They have gotten very new age and aren’t relatable to the everyday woman. Kind of disappointing, but that’s ok. There are plenty of other podcast out there to listen to. Sadly another updated review as I have completely unfollowed the podcast and haven’t listened in months or at all in 2022 and 2021. She has become out of touch with reality and no longer relatable. It seems to be all about selling her online courses for outrageous prices which I thankfully did not purchase any. The tone she uses, the haughtiness, the me me me, and what I’m doing and what you can do too!! Yeah no thanks…

Business3342Becoming HerWow what a podcast! The peace and energy I get with the reassurance listening to this is amazing. This is a great show and I listen to an episode a day. I read through reviews and wow great support. But not sure about Christina Ses problem. First of all that’s not a review that’s more of a personal problem and shot. Also I have all the programs still and just had to go to the site they sent me and download it. Not hard girl really. Get it together

KREED813RevelationLong time listener to Allie. First timer to Jen and wow have I been missing out! Such an incredible message. It’s been about two hours since I’ve finished the episode. In shock as I come to recognize two things that I gave myself permission to do. And it feels amazing. 1. I ordered a different meal than my usual. 2. I sat down to eat before completing the task of doing laundry. Laundry is the first task I do when I wake up and first thing I do when I get home from work. It’s almost embarrassing because it sounds corny but the revelation I needed! Adore you both. Inspired beyond measure. 32 yrs old and it’s my DAY ONE :) Married, Female, 3 kids aged 9-13. Adding Joy to my resume.

ChristinaSesShe has burned bridges.Something to add to this review, so you don’t make the same mistake many of us made! Allie is now deleting all the programs she promised “lifetime access” to. We are given the “opportunity” to manually download each file one at at a time and store them using up our own data. Definitely a painstaking process and it has to be done by Jan 1. One of the busiest times of the year. Many of us have multiple courses and it’s hundreds of things to individually download and organize. Honestly I don’t think I’ll do it in time as this is a busy season. Just a heads up if you’re promised lifetime access, it doesn’t mean on a hosted platform where it stores your courses. Allie has outgrown us. She said so herself. She admitted that she had been faking her personality all these years and was acting “vanilla” and “fake” so we would like her. Her true colors are now revealed. She’s crass, worldly, and narcissistic. Nearly all her staff suddenly quit after a group retreat. She recently shut down all the Facebook Groups where her costumers were promised “lifetime community” in hopes that we would all join together in her new membership “Becoming Her” with a monthly fee attached. Many of us have paid hundreds of dollars to be a part of these. She said she “burned the boats and blew up her business” meaning we are left behind unless we pay even more for her “friendship”. Trust me, she’s not your bestie. I grieve for the person I thought I knew and I wish her true healing.

Lorelei PaigeInspiringI appreciate how Allie is continuously learning, evolving, and refining her purpose through various life transitions. I think we all do that throughout our lives, though we may not realize it until our later years. The Purpose Show is always inspiring, with a range of topics filled with Allie’s knowledge and experience that help us to elevate our lives, and to find and become the best version of ourselves.
-
DNDdogpackThe best podcast for women!I have listened to every episode of The Purpose Show & continue to look forward to new episodes. I love how Allie truly desires to support women & lift us up together to be better versions of ourselves. She does a great job of giving actionable steps to women in busy phases of life. Her explanations & the “why” behind everything are always delivered with truth & love. I feel like I’m on this journey with Allie & appreciate the best friend chat vibe of each episode!

BeeListenA favorite!I have loved this podcast for years. So happy she is back and her new content is even better!
-
BFinTravels24New IdeasI’ve listened to this podcast off and on for several years, and find Allie’s content relevant and relatable in both her “old” and “new” eras. Yes, some of the concepts she has presented more recently are new to me and I need to sit with them and process for awhile. But I’ve reached a point in my life where that’s exactly what I’m looking for: new ideas and new ways of thinking to help me actually move forward into the best version of myself, instead of staying stuck where I am and doing the same old things that aren’t working.
-
curtis_clanSO Grateful!!🌟I am so grateful for all of her knowledge and hard work she puts into guiding others. She has helped me more than she will ever know. I feel like she is one of my good friends. I started following her mission back in 2017 (I think). I honestly don’t ever listen to podcasts (but I do now!) I needed her in my life right now. I have requested all the info from her to help me get out of my own way. I tell everyone about Allie! LOVE her energy and all the F-bombs she drops! She is “a vibe” for sure!! So happy I was able to reconnect with her! THANK YOU!!🩷

Dawn1217tLove this podcast. This podcast is the one I always look forward to listening to. It has helped me so much to become the person I know I am meant to be. 100% would recommend.

KJCOPodlistenerGreat podcast to support your personal growthIt’s clear that Allie is passionate about supporting women. She pushes us to grow and she provides so many resources to do it.
-
Mixiemb30Your Go-To Confidence BoostThese episodes are short and sweet, and packed with inspiration to help you be more confident, go after your dreams, and let go of what’s holding you back. Allie’s advice feels like a pep talk from a friend who just gets it.
-
Ashley LudlowAllie will push you to become the highest version of yourselfThis is my go-to podcast as a female entrepreneur. Allie doesn’t beat around the bush or hold anything back. She’s one of the most generous hosts in podcasting, sharing her incredibly deep well of knowledge freely with her listeners. If you need a business bestie who believes in you more than you believe in yourself - and then proceeds to support you to become that version of yourself, The Purpose Show is for you.
-
AliLehwardsGrowth happens hereI’ve been a follower of Allie’s for many years, but not until recently when I started regularly using her words and tools did I start to see a change in myself. I can tell I am growing one day at a time. I am inspired by her courage - no more people pleasing - she is showing what progress and personal evolution can be!
-
3isGood111417Not evidence based, shady tacticsNothing she says anymore is evidence based. She seems to just be in it all for cash grabs. She doesn’t actually care about her listeners or her followers, she just wants their money. She’s gone down a weird path and it feels like she’s preying on financially vulnerable women by selling them “programs” that will supposedly bring them all sorts of money but she just regurgitates from other people she’s read/listened to and there is no evidence that any of her new tactics actually work. I used to love her content but now I just don’t trust anything she says.
-
jemimamontiWho is this?Tuned after some time and it felt like I was just listening to ads, really bummed because her old podcast was great and felt authentic. This just feels like she’s trying to shove her stuff down our throats. Seems like she doesn’t care about her listeners anymore
-
MJGwillBusiness EnergeticsAnd her content wasn’t good enough, Allie continues to OVERdeliver with her free challenges and paid offers to us. She keeps elevating and inspiring us and I’m so thankful to join the party. Can’t wait for what she has up her sleeve next with her “Business Energetics” show and on IG @business.energetics 🥳

Lexi2680Amazing!Allie’s hypnosis sessions are releasing, creating and rejuvenating. Thank you for stepping into your light and helping me step into mine. Love this session and others!
-
emt123'NopeCompletely different person. Unrecognizable and unrelatable from just a couple short years ago. Don’t waste your time listening.
-
graerdfftyyujhvvSales pitchUsed to love the way this podcast would inspire but lately I feel like podcast half of it is her trying to sell me something and I end up popping this chance to get to the good stuff I don't think I'll be listening anymore.

K-TroutmanEpisode 361 Manifesting in Low VibesGirl… I cannot tell you how much I needed this episode. Because of the inspiration and courage that you have given me I quit my job in January 2021… at the family business. I was able to start an in-home art studio and run it successfully for two years with a two and three-year-old, while my husband was over worked, my grandma needed in-home care across town, and my sister’s family moved in with us. I finally hit a breaking point and let it all fall to the wayside. I have been told about myself that I cannot make things happen unless I am under pressure because I procrastinate, or it has to be necessary for someone else to succeed before I make anything a priority. It was also pointed out to me by a friend that I can to go hard for something for two years and then I burn out. My efforts have to bring in money or they’re foolish or selfish… I have been sitting with these guilty feelings about myself for the last several months, feeling like I cannot move forward or start my next project because I’m just going to repeat those patterns. Thank you for helping us work through deeper layers like this. I appreciate you so much.
-
TrittmooUsed to love her…Now I feel like everything is a sales pitch. She’s no longer relateable to my season.
-
GnfsaghCan’t support anymoreYou can go ahead and scroll through all the recent 1 star reviews - it’s the same reason I’m updating my former 5 star review.
-
AnnieKimCNot GoodThe content in most episodes is just…nothing. They’re not interesting, enlightening, amusing, or anything really. The content is either common sense or nonsense—nothing worth listening to. I mean, try it for yourself of course, but you will likely come away feeling like you’ve wasted 30 minutes.

OwlLover2016Where did Allie go?I’ve followed Allie for years. I even went to her book signing and got to meet her in person a few years back! I use to listen to the podcast every week but now I’ve had to unfollow her and don’t listen anymore. It makes me sad but I just wasn’t aligning with her new views on things. I noticed when she took out her “John 10:10” verse out of her new intro that things started really changing. I listened today on a whim today thinking I may but get something out of it and no joke the first 12 minutes of the podcast was about the courses she’s selling 😑

Hannah KoylSad to see where things have goneAllie changed my life back in 2017. It makes what I’m seeing now from her especially sad. I had unsubscribed to Allie’s emails several years back because of how much marketing she did in her emails - it felt pushy and I didn’t appreciate it. I still saw her posts after that and noticed a general shift…couldn’t really articulate it but just something. I gradually fell out of listening to her. I’ve been out of the social media realm for awhile and just saw a post today where it explained her and Brian are divorcing after some time of being/living “unmarried” (term she coined I guess?). There’s allegations of serious abuse from her towards some her team members. There’s been resignations within her company by team members who had been with her since the beginning. I’m sad for her, her husband (?), and most especially for her children. Original Review from 2019: One of the things I genuinely look forward to about Mondays and Wednesdays is that I know Allie will have a new podcast ready! It’s become part of my morning ritual to have it playing while I eat breakfast with my little guy. I have listened to every podcast and I always walk away feeling refreshed and empowered. She tackles a broad range of topics, but typically each podcast is specific and tactical. She doesn’t just talk concepts, she talks how to make it happen. I found Allie back in January 2017, when my firstborn was only a couple months old and I tell everyone SHE CHANGED MY LIFE, and not just because she changed how I keep my home, but because she changed how I think about it. It’s become a lifestyle, and I am so thankful. My home is peaceful and easy to keep up. My next child is due in October and I feel so much more able to tackle this new stage of life, because so many other things in my life are in order. Obviously there’s still much to do, and I wouldn’t even call myself a full-blown minimalist, but I love the peace and calm and joy that has been brought to my life through listening to Allie. Also, super appreciative of her Christian values. As one myself, it makes it so nice to listen knowing that’s her worldview, but I also appreciate how her message is for all and anyone can learn and grow from it. In short, love Allie! Can’t wait to hear whatever else is coming.

igigigh97'nkvufyfyEhNot for me. She seems incredibly self involved and narcissistic. I’m sure she had good content in the past, but I can’t relate at all to her current vibe nor energy. Feels oppressive.
-
JakqoehrbfkdlUnrecognizableI don’t even recognize this Allie. Like many others, I found Allies early content to be so heartfelt and encouraging but unfollowed after a noticeable shift in the direction of the podcast and Allies shift to what felt worldly, prideful and showy.
-
MsLCVaHardly any contentI’ve only listened to 2 of the more recent podcasts episodes and was disappointed at the lack of content. Half the episode was promoting her courses, another big chunk was ads, leaving only 3-5 minutes of actual podcast content. I don’t mind course promotion or ads (get your money!), but I need to be getting some real content in return for that… not just a few minutes. Been following on IG for awhile and I enjoy the content there.

Beka'sThoughtsUpdated reviewI have to change my original review, which I will paste below because if you can go back to her original episodes, this podcast and some of her courses will be helpful. However, I unfollowed the podcast bc in I think 2022 she really started evolving into more of a worldly podcast about getting ahead in life. I'm sure there's a group that will appreciate that content and that new side of her, but it's no longer relevant for me and isn't a podcast I'd recommend. But here is the review for earlier episodes: This podcast is perfect for moms with young kids in the house. It’s practical in helping you figure out the stuff that’s getting in the way of being a mom. Allie’s help in clearing my clutter-physical, virtual, & mental has made a huge difference in my life, putting things in perspective and making more time for the most important things. I’ve listened to every episode:
-
MikaBeggsAllie is awesome!I love Allies new shift and I am here for it! I’ve been listening to her for years and I love how authentic she is, even knowing she is getting slammed for it. Just signed up for her Becoming Her Collective and I can not wait to see my growth because hers is amazing! #LetsGoGirls 🌱

AkosijeniferA treasure trove of goodnessMy favorite podcast because this one is for me. Every part of me - my mindset, my parenting, my relationships - all around life management. Allie is real, honest, and shares authentically from her own life with other women and moms in mind. This podcast is practical. So much here that you can take and run with, applying it to your life immediately. Thank you, Allie, for being you. I've learned (and am learning) so much!
-
kennediecAllie if you are reading this…I started following Allie about 8 or 9 years ago. She had only a few thousand followers on instagram. She was so relatable. I was pregnant with my first and I believe she was pregnant with her last. I looked up to her so much as an experienced mom and wife. I loved how she talked about God and how He brought her through many of their struggles and how she mentioned in her podcast intro “I believe in John 10:10, that we are called to live an abundant life.” I listened to Allie say that so many times as I turned her podcast on to run, walk or simply take a moment for my self and get encouragement through my early motherhood journey. I feel like this podcast has went a different direction than what it was originally intended to be. It was full of such good advice and Allie did a wonderful job and connecting to moms that felt lost and unseen. I still recommend going back and listening to her early stuff, all the way back at the beginning. Allie, if you are reading this, I want you to know how much God loves you. How He see’s what you are struggling with. It’s never to late, and you are never to far gone to return to Him. He can fix any broken situation. Not matter how unfixable you believe it might be. You encouraged along time ago to be a woman and a mother who constantly seeks after Jesus. Years ago, you gave me so much hope and light in the darkest of my early motherhood days. You helped strengthen my relationship with Jesus and to lean on him. Allie I hope you know how much He loves you and sees you.

Huskers1211Best wishesto her new branding! I supported her podcast for years and also purchased her courses that I feel like it did not deliver all that were promised…..that being said, I do believe people change and we all grow and they should! I wish all the best on her new journey. She helped me in the stage of life where I was at that point. she was at a point in life and it’s okay to realize and we can all transform and thrive.
-
melissav34Selling a Vague ProductThis podcast is mostly a platform for selling not a product but herself as a brand. Some content was ok for a while to listen to while cleaning and decluttering, but there isn’t anything very practical anymore. Just cycling through the same ideas and telling moms over and over again, “You’ve got this.”
-
KashmalenRun far and run fast.My original review is below this blurb: This woman is totally unrecognizable. Puffed up and proud , she has essentially disowned and disrespected the very women who made her podcast, courses and book a success. I am one of those women. She is a good study for what happens when you worship money , self and become puffed up with pride. You can see this literal evolution in her content over the years. Steer clear. My original review( from 2022) for the purpose show: I started to follow Allie way back in 2018 and as a new mom I absolutely benefitted from her content. Over the last year or so I have found most of her content to be quite un relatable. As a side note, in early 2020 I bought YUH and Unburdened when they went on sale. I can say that while most of the course content was pretty elementary, she had some great hacks and listening to her helped me get motivated to move in the right direction which I think is what made her special. So for me I thought the investment at the time was well worth it. However I can tell you the current prices listed for these courses are completely exorbitant and unjustifiable. I wish her the best and hope she course corrects otherwise she will likely alienate the vast majority of her original and intended audience - overwhelmed , ordinary women who are in the throes of motherhood.
-
Reviewed805Save Your MoneyDo not give this woman one dime of your money. She makes promises that she does not keep. She is not authentic and she has zero integrity. Her emails are a constant money grab. I was a fan. I spent thousands of dollars on her “courses”. I was duped. Don’t be like me.
-
ihatedesignhome4everDecluttering gone too far…Allie’s brand is about decluttering. Many of us started with her to simply learn how to make our homes and spaces more peaceful by getting rid of all the extra things we don’t need. Well it seems that Allie has decluttered her husband from her life now. Which really taints my view of her approach to everything in the past. Like a true narcissist, everyone and everything else is the problem except for her. I fear for her children one day and what this means for their relationship with their mother years down the road. Will they be decluttered out of her life someday too? And Allie, if you’re reading this, please think about what the common denominator is here. You’re on a journey searching for peace and removing everyone and everything who takes that away from you. But have you considered that you have to bring yourself with you everywhere you go? Look inward. Deal with your heart. That’s the problem. Happiness looks like having peace even when our house is a mess and our husband is getting on our nerves and our kids are too loud. Learning how to be content in all circumstances because our ultimate hope is in Christ will bring you the joy you’re searching for. Peace to you.
-
brownworldSmart, honest, funny! This is a smart, brutally honest woman! She doesn’t mince words and doesn’t take any crap.
-
Torigirl1820So disappointingLike other reviewers have said, in the last few years her content, her character, and her worldview has completely changed. I feel that she has definitely soured her message of simplicity with the focus of increasing “her empire,” as she calls it. I learned so much from her podcast with Kelsey Vankirk when I first started my simplicity journey. But ever since Allie has shown herself to be more and more self focused, it has been a detriment to her business and her integrity, in my opinion.
-
BlackSeaSmithPlease think twice before following her adviceI think the content that used to come from this podcast was great, freeing and encouraging, as Allie was in that same place in her life. Now I think everything she does is a money grab and an attempt to elevate her own image. I would severely caution anyone who chooses to take her advice or pay her for ANYTHING. Also, she was bribing people for reviews by offering them access to 2 mini courses if they left her a review on her podcast (she posted in her IG stories)…so any positive reviews left around June 2023 are probably just to get the free courses. 😳
-
Lynsty9821Literally life changingUpdate: Unfortunately I can no longer stand behind this review. Her old content (I’m talking years and years ago) is still incredible - it did help me. But now I know based on other interviews she’s done that she was playing a role. And while that doesn’t change the bones of what she taught me, it leaves such a bad taste in my mouth about her authenticity. And of course in the recent years she’s abandoned everything she used to preach and operates from a completely different worldview. While that’s her right, I can’t get on board with it and am no longer a listener. What’s unfortunate is that instead of just respectfully acknowledging that she’s changed and admitting that her target audience has also changed, she had to go and treat her original audience - the very people that gave her her success - horribly on social media under the false guise of “I’m just being myself finally.” Okay - well if this is the real Allie, I don’t want any part in it 🤷🏼♀️ I truly truly wish I could still stand behind my original review. I say that a lot of podcasts are life changing but this podcast has literally changed my life in such tangible and practical ways. Allie’s take on minimalism has led us to a full house purge, which in turn has helped us to once again love where we live. I spend way less time picking up after my kids and they are so much more content with less. Wow - I literally share episodes to my social media at least once a week. This podcast is gold.
-
lidsrnDon’t waste your timeUsed to be a fan. She fooled us all in pretending to be something she’s not. She said it herself, “dropping the vanilla mask” and showing us her true self…which is crass and unpleasant.
