McondawebGreat job all around!Just like everybody else I lead a very busy work life and it just so happens these guys seem to drop an episode on every one of my vacations that is amazing. I listen to other Beatles related podcasts and while they have some charm this is by far the best Beatles related podcast on the web. They have fantastic insights - fantastic research and they keep the show moving along at a brisk pace. They have reacquainted me with at least a dozen McCartney songs I had either forgotten or dismissed too hastily in the past. I’m a huge Dylan/Lennon fan but I think this podcast is proving to me that McCartney is the musical master of our generation. I heartily recommend this to any McCartney fan and I have lol

growing up mccartneyI miss Ryan Brady! This podcast has turned into a one sided conversation. The new guy has hi-jacked it. I’m losing interest fast. I really miss Ryan Brady.

Josh-04002A great time with the solo beatlesI just made it through the archive, thanks fellas!! A great deep dive, fascinating to follow different styles and influences through an entire lifetime. Thanks so much for turning me on to Waterspout!!

DaveWBufThe WORLDS WORST podcastAt first I liked it then BOOM Worst ever. Now I still hate it!
-
Okie 60’s GirlYodelI’m pretty sure this yodeling song is a Jimmie Rodgers song from the 1920s

BM,LILovely Beatle podcastI just want you to know that I truly enjoy your show.. I listen to many Beatles podcasts. You guys have a very nice demeanor and you mix in your knowledge with some fun .. it’s a delight to listen.

Irene9595Chris Mercer needs workUmmmm yeah it’s clear this podcast was primarily focused on McCartney until about three months ago when they decided to do a “deep dive” on George Harrison. Chris seems to bring save his good takes and positivity for McCartney. He lacks substance when it comes to George Harrison and his comments come off as passively uninterested. What really set me off what how he saw little importance of the Olivia Harrison/Now and Then clock story. The story was clear spiritual validation George gave the project. It’s in bad taste to brush over that.

gooofpronanaspendradillyWHOA!I about drove off the road when Mercer said Hey Jude should’ve been wrapped up in 3 minutes. I’m typically pretty good at accepting and understanding others tastes in music when they’re different than mine, but… I gotta say… THAT comment was probably THE WORST and dumbest Beatle take I’ve ever heard come from the mouth of someone who calls themselves a fan. HOLY F’N JEEBUS!

ThorifficDemands repeated listeningsTHis is one of the tew podcasts that I have liistened to completely multiple times. There is so much to get from it. The love that Chris and Ryan shared for the music of Paul McCartney. The two had a remarkable rapport that makes for great listening. Very saddened that Ryan passed, but I am glad that Chris and Paul Kaminski (who Ryan worked with on Now Hear This Podcast) have decided to carry on. For anyone who is a Beatles and/or Paul (and now George) fan, this is essential listening. Really appreciate all that goes into it.

Marthy KrautmanThank YouWas checking in for updates on a McCartney 3 episode and instead encountered this awful news. Despite the deceptive intimacy of the podcast format, I of course did not know Ryan, but there was always a palpable goodness that shone through his spirit—reminiscent of the kind that makes McCartney’s music so special, especially as the soundtrack to these often bleak and cynical times. RIP Ryan, my condolences to Chris and loved ones, and thanks for contributing a little light into this listener’s life.
-
ToshibandanaThank youA perfect music podcast! Listening to this has been very helpful this past week. I wish I had discovered this earlier. Thank you Ryan and Chris for this incredibly fun and comprehensive document. Thank you to Ryan for your musical output and influence that will always be remembered

Robert MetcalfBeatle Paul Podcast is Fab! 💜🖤⭐️Paul The most successful musician in history’s solo career is analyzed deeply and successfully. If you lived in the 20/21 centuries and saw Paul you saw Beethoven of sorts, a musician who will be talked about for centuries to come! Excellent podcast! Robert Metcalf Beatle and Paul fan since 1964⭐️💜🖤 PS The Denny Laine interviews are excellent! Huge Denny fan here! 💜 This is the best podcast I’ve ever heard. The work to do this must be astronomical. I hope Paul himself gives it a listen! ☮️💜 Close to being caught up. Maybe next venture should be a Sinatra retrospective? Then Lennon? 😁 Billy Joel? Something you both love like you do Paul! Love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This has helped me through the pandemic! I’m a huge Elvis Presley fan also and I appreciate the love you sent his way! Rock on!

Judge TimbersSimply the Best Macca PodcastI enjoy many Macca and Beatle podcasts, but this is simply the best comprehensive critical analysis of McCartney’s varied tapestry from McCartney to Egypt Station and beyond. All tracks, however obscure, are discussed and evaluated. Probably not the best introduction for a casual fan, but perfect for diehard fans eager to devour any McCartney morsels. Also, the hosts are genuine broadcasters and treat the topic in a very professional manner. The only negative thing I can really say is the podcast has covered the complete archives now, so only an occasional bonus episode remains likely in the future. With that said, this podcast will live on for future listeners for years to come.

InnerRevolution7Wonderful deep diveThose who THINK they know McCartney’s catalog based only on limited knowledge need to take this deep dive into his album cuts, rarities, deep tracks, b-sides, unreleased gems. I knew a lot going in, and it still dropped my jaw. The only words that can accurately describe are “creative genius” and maybe even more-so than you know. The amount of unreleased material from each album project in some cases is astounding, and sometimes better than some of the album tracks. Hosts are knowledgable and honest about their opinion when they hit upon tracks they don’t enjoy or feel are substandard (we all have our differing opinions which those are.) Take the McCartney deep dive. Enjoy.
-
VivLundWowThis is by far the best McCartney podcast. These guys know their stuff!! And they have very pleasant speaking voices that I could listen to all day :)
-
long duffyFantasticGreat podcast from 2 guys who really know their stuff. Very informative and entertaining.
-
whitem8Great stuff! What a great podcast! You guys are very knowledgeable and clearly fans! Very enjoyable and thorough.
-
Mcgear123Best of of Beatle GeekCan’t say enough about these guys! They’re without question the most entertaining of all beatle and Macca “geeked” podcasts . Both are great breaking down the music , lyrics and adding historical context.
-
Blue OxBrady and Mercer best podcast ever!Ryan Brady and Chris Mercer do a great job walking us through the Paul McCartney Archives. They cover the hits as well as lesser known songs, some unreleased or hard to find, which for me was a real treasure. These guys don't pretend to be professionals but I find their podcasts more listenable and enjoyable than many of the so called expert music critics. If I ever cross paths I would like to buy each a beer while arguing that Wings of the Speed of Sound deserves a third place finish (after BOR and RAM)!!!
-
Jorke3344The Best on MaccaThe best. These guys are true fans and fun. As someone who thinks he knows everything about McCartney and his music, I’m surprised that I’m always finding out stuff that I don’t know from Ryan and the 🤓!
-
Shawkey89Excellent!!!Excellent podcast from two well informed McCartney fans. Each episode keeps me wanting another. A great over all review of Paul’s solo career. This podcast comes highly recommended. An Avid listener, Michael S.

tomtombearclubI got addictedI found the podcast after listening to the “yesterday and today” podcast. I can not remember what I listened to first but in a week I completed the series. My take away is Paul is extremely talented and prolific and a lot of good material unfortunately did not make the albums. And in a negative way it confirms that Paul can be extremely lazy lyrically and too many are weak ‘ie dustbin lid’ all together. He relieved on stringing together 1 minute ideas and creating a little time montage to often. Something Dylan Wonder Young Townsend Simon and Van Morrison does not do. It seems that he needs a Denny Laine or someone extremely strong lyrical beside him at all times. And the last note starting in the 80’s Paul was considered extremely unhip it was hard to have your friends buy into Paul after ‘Back to the Egg’ and his 80’s singles did not help. I did not like “press” the single at the time but now you guys have made it extremely campy to listen to. Love you guys make some more shows please.

Natenate101Very in depthEntertaining podcast with knowledgeable and enthusiastic hosts. Thanks for the info fellas.
-
thegentilegood info, so-so hoststhe info is good and i am mainly enjoying this thorough look at macca’s discography, but my main problem is the hosts. they’re lacking any witty back and forth and come off as boring and uncharismatic. to me it sounded like they weren’t even in the same room talking to each other... eventually you find out they are in different cities, but they later do get together for episodes and there is no difference. it feels read to you, rather than a conversation between friends and rabid fans. you could (for the most part) just read a wikipedia page and the one book they primarily source paired with a spotify account for the same experience. they also seem to go back and forth on their opinions of songs/albums in the same sentence and get overly hung up on lyrics. you guys do like ‘she loves you’, yeah yeah yeah? yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah?
-
McCartneyNumeroUnoContact MethodHello, I am a big, big McCartney fan to say the least. I think a conversation with either of you two gentlemen is in order. Do you have a contact method you all can provide?
-
steve LevetsThoughtful and informativeThese guys are steeped in knowledge about McCartney’s music. Each and every song is painstakingly gone through, and no detail is left out. It’s beautifully done and these two, wearing their nerdiness on their sleeves, are absolutely and unequivocally unapologetic in their love for Paul McCartney and his music.
-
oscargeek83Best podcast on Paul McCartneyIf you are a fan of Paul McCartney or The Beatles you need to listen to this podcast. They go through every McCartney album with great in-depth analysis.

Michigan Reviewer 2.TitleAs a person who spent their teenage years listening intently to Wings' albums over and over, I am thrilled that it was these two guys who decided to do this podcast. They give honest reactions and insight to Paul's 70's career. Whereas I praise everything he did in the 70's, these guys praise where it's deserving and give constructive criticism where needed. Great podcast.
-
Lad1258cool podcastinteresting to listen to younger listeners take on Macca...i am 59...been listening to him forever...good to get some insight i may have overlooked
-
Buck BennyInsightful and Entertaining!Wow! Really nice job. Love that you talk about all the Beatles soso careers and albums. Your commentaries about every song are wonderful! Hope you keep it going all the way to the present! Please feature the other Beatles albums a little more prominently, I would love you to go through all of their tracks as well! I'll try and steer more folks your way.
-
Emmanuel P., FranceWarm And BeautifulThese two guys are doing a fantastic job by reviewing the complete McCatrney carrier, step by step, by putting everything in historical/musical/personnal perspective. They provide pretty interesting informations and witty comments on the subject while being fun.
-
Mike MaederKeep 'em comingIt is really obvious the extraordinary amount of effort/research you both have put into each episode. I've learned so much and I've gone back and forth several times now between listening to an episode, listening to the album, then back to the episode! Its kept me very busy at work. You guys have also inspired me to go out and try to complete my Macca vinyl collection. I've been buying them one at a time as the episodes come out. I jumped the gun yesterday and picked up Pipes of Peace. Can't wait to hear what you guys have to say about The Other Me and Sweetest Little Show... Is it just me or are those songs some primo-catchy tunes. Thanks for making the podcast, I've past it along to all my other Macca fanatics!
-
mister strawberryGreatFinally a great McCartney podcast! Love the show, keep up the good work
-
Rallen TandoFans of McCartney and fans of music in generalChris and Ryan are obviously huge fans, but this podcast is not just a fanzine. Both are educated and informed fans so they discuss what's great about the ablums and songs and what's not so great. Fans of McCartney will enjoy this but I also think that anyone who follows any musical artist over their career would be interested in the approach that Chris and Ryan take in discussing a body of work.
-
Craig MakWell Done McCartney reviewsVery well informed. These guys know their stuff. I like their Honest reviews and very Informative. Looking forward to more. Ram is prob my Fave Solo Macca also.
-
Farful's DadVery well done and informativeI happened upon this podcast and was pleasantly surprised. Up to now they have only done the first 3 McCartney albums but so far they have delivered great insight into the making of the albums and also commentary and snippets of every album cut. Well done, looking forward to Red Rose Speedway, which I never owned. This podcast is worth checking out.
