One of the most engaging light hearted podcasts for video game news around. Lots of humor, very insightful takes from people who have been in the industry for many years and free of the negativity that surrounds much of the industry discussion. Give it a whirl.

A great source for news and impressions and always entertaining.

The EZA podcast is a great source of gaming news and discussion that’s unfortunately been ‘review bombed’ at the end of October due to an issue that happened in a separate podcast. The issue was greatly over blown and does not merit the brigade of 1 star reviews. Please check them out and decide for yourself!

Don’t waste your time on this podcast. I have tried to listen but it is utterly boring. Listen to any other gaming podcast

Have been a listener for 3 years but am signing off after the disrespect showed to a friend of the show Dustin. If that’s how you do friends I hate to think how you treat your enemies. You have no receipts to throw somebody under the buss for something they didn’t even do

I enjoyed listening to this show but can’t support the blatant disrespect of Dustin. I hope you guys come around.

The quality of this podcast has continued to decline to the point that I am done. I enjoy hearing different points of view and this podcast has become an echo chamber. When Kyle Bossman left, it started the slow death of Easy Allies.

These people are the equivalent to the person you knew growing up that set the terms for your friendship, “If you talk to that person, we can no longer be friends.” If you like Sacred Symbols or have any connection with them, you cannot be their friends under their terms. Pathetic and shameful.

I’ve been an Easy A listener for a long time, and for the last year I’ve been contemplating unfollowing and ending my patronage. I had been planning to do this quietly as most people do, but frankly their recent, unprofessional behavior towards guests is unacceptable. To cut to the chase, they’ve always been a little preachy. Everyone has their beliefs, and Im open minded - willing to listen to ideas that vary from mine. Recently they had a guest on, whose episode is still up and available, but they’ve since defamed on their discord in an effete, cowardly manner. It’s ok to disagree, but this is pathetic, and the company should face appropriate consequences.

They showed how spineless they are with their apology for having Dustin on their podcast just because he’s from Sacred Symbols and a vocal minority complained with baseless accusations.

Avoid

Lame show with lame opinions. Treat people that they bring on with no respect. Failing podcast that’s hanging on by a thread. Stay far away.

The treatment you guys have exhibited to Dustin from Sacred Symbols is disgusting. I thought you guys were better than this. You’ve lost a fan and a listener.

The show has been going downhill rather quickly recently. You guys had good flow of things going recently but not anymore.

Best in the Biz since I could remember. Turning out some of the best video game related content out there!

10/10, these people know their stuff and put in work to bring something spicy to the bland world of videogame podcasts. Live your life with flavor and praise the 🇾🇪EasyAllies🇾🇪 PS - you won’t find another podcast that will speak their minds about freedom in 🇭🇰 Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Among other “off limits” topics any other sponsored podcast wouldn’t touch. These folks are genuine about their passions, their strengths and their faults! They are the nicest boys and girls in gaming and they are refreshingly hard-working. Not to mention, fun! Funny! Positive!

It was only out for 3 weeks, not ‘forever’

There's such great energy here. Each panelist brings unique passions within the games industry to discuss gaming news. Their decades of media experience reap a deep understanding of the biz, while their continued enthusiasm also provides fun and friendly vibes. Daniel Bloodworth does an excellent job as host and moderator, teasing out natural discussions at an entertaining and cozy pace.

Been following the personalities of Gametrailers for over a decade. Their transitioning to Easy Allies is some of the best and most insightful converage in the video game space. Honest and good people who love games. Love and Respect.

Truly. I’ve been a patron from day one and love y’all’s stuff so much. Through the good days and the bad, you’ve been there. This isn’t a show it’s a community. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am a big fan of all the Easy Allies content and am both a subscriber and a patron (so I can access the podcasts early). The main show, Frame Trap, Friend Code, and more are all quality content and keeps me entertained during long commutes or daily runs. This is one of my number one sources for video game discussions and whenever a breaking news story happens in the world of video games I turn to the Easy Allies to get reactions. A must listen to if you are a video game fan and appreciate a strong community of fellow fans.

Through all iterations this is the absolute best video game podcast out there. Everything they do is worth your time.

They spoil Death Stranding without warning on episode 320. There is a token “spoiler warning” right before they spoil several key details from Death Stranding in episode 320. As soon as he said it I tried to grab my phone and pause, but there was absolutely zero pause between the words “spoiler warning” and the spoiler sentence. I brushed that off, but the cast I guess took that as free reign to toss out spoilers without any notice. Very frustrating. Lots of mouth sounds and eating mushy foods into the mic. Disappointing podcast. Only thing that could make it worse is virtue signaling. Update: why so many mouth sounds

With Brandon leaving unfortunately many will as well. The remaining cast (except blood) isn’t very capable of continuing conversation, pushing topics forward, etc. after todays episode it will probably get unsubbed and forgotten.

Now with Kyle and jones gone the Podcast only has a 50yr old man that laughs every 3 words that come out of his mouth, sad. RIP EZA

I’m excited for everything new to come from this era of eza. I think Isla and Blood will bring great energy and ideas as they lead the crew:) Nothing but L&R, thanks for being a positive escape for people!

I’ve been listening to and following Easy Allies from the very beginning and they never fail to put out great video game content!

I’ve been listening to these guys since back in the Game Trailers days. No jerks, no loudmouths, no bigots: just good friends taking about the hobby and industry they love. Highly recommended for anyone who has given up on gaming “culture.”

Honestly, I like him better than the previous guy. Jones is so charming and such a great conversationalist. Also, shout out to Huber. That guy is the best... and Ian is kind of cool.

This podcast has been a nice addition to my life. It’s possible that it’s become my favorite podcast. It’s difficult to remember the time before EZA entered my life. There are a decent number of allies, so in just about every episode, you get to hear from a range of different allies. The co-op nature of EZA could be a downfall but each show manages to feel the same. The sound quality in the earlygoings wasn’t spectacular. That being said, each upgrade they’ve made yields higher quality in their sounds and streams. It feels good to contribute to their patreon. They have quite a few tiers and you can customize the amount you pledge, giving you the freedom to get the benefits you want. Their patreon is virtually at the center of their business and can be used for communicating with the allies. The same is true of their twitch and youtube channels. If Easy Allies is a brand new podcast for you and you have a few dollars lying around, consider showing them how much they’re appreciated. Lastly, they have a segment where they read off comments and questions. The game does a good job of wrapping up their podcasts with some sort of mailbag segment. You might have to listen in slow motion when Huber is on to soak in all the hype. If you’re like me, you can’t wait until the weekend to crack open some canisters of your favorite beverage and feel like you’re talking video games with your best friends. Love and respect.

Great podcast, love or wars.

Every time I hear video game news, announcements or hot gossip, I think to myself “Man, I can’t wait to hear Easy Allies this week.” 10/10 for sure.

I been following Easy Allies for years regarding their reviews. Only to find out a year ago that they had a podcast the whole time. It really opened up to me about how they run their organization. When listening to their podcast you get both a dose of their culture and their expert insight on the gaming industry as a whole. Final Score: 10/10

It may take some time to catch on to some inside jokes and segments, but once you’re aware of Kyle’s humor it really comes together. Easily my favorite video game related podcast.

This gamer podcast is great and gives POVs about games I never even thought I’d play!!

Like the show in general. As a new listener, I feel that there is a bit too much filler before you start talking about the main topics. It also gets quite irritating when a few of you yelling something at the same time. It is kinda a pain when listening in car.

Can be a real crapshoot some weeks. The current bit with “pro strats” has evolved into an abrasive start to the show which can turn you off from the show before it even kicks off. Once the show gets rolling it has some solid conversations with a sprinkling bits that either stick to the wall or promptly dislodge and flop into a litter box. Keep churning out content and maybe cut back on the cheese.
