LiizzzzzGreat content, can’t hear hostHost volume is always so low, making it a struggle to listen as the guest volume becomes much louder. Months ago this was not an issue. Sadly can not handle the volume inconsistencies with the host and guest so I am unfollowing.

Jen1010101010101Too hard to hear hostTopics are great, guests are knowledgeable, but the difference in volume between host and guest is so frustrating! Either you can’t hear the host or the guest is breaking your ear drums.
-
A-A-Run YI can barely hear the host's questionI like the content. However, the unbalanced sound volume between the host and guest speaker is so off. It might hurt your hearing when the guest starts to talk if you use headphones when increasing the volume to hear the host.

RachelabauerA must listen for HR people or anyone interested in organizational changeI love the way Joshua interviews. He is very real about all of the topics he covers, completely approachable, and most important for me: he gives actionable takeaways in each episode that I have been able to use in my work. Don’t miss it!

bauroragAll about the vibesEdit: love the new host, Maddi! She seems very engaged in the conversations and asks very thoughtful questions. The sound quality has improved as well! While I love the consistency of episodes produced and the guest speakers and content, I get vibes from the host that he is bored or uninterested in the conversation and even at times he can seem a little demeaning. He doesn’t really make the conversation flow, rather the interaction seems forced. He seems distant and it makes me feel disengaged. I think he has the potential to do really well but as it stands now I am not always super excited to listen to this podcast.

Alex425xyzGreat insights!I checked out the two most recent episodes, the sneak peak of “A Seat at the Table” - which think it’s going to be a success, just given the preview(!) and “Building Culture Through Well Being” with Nikki Salentetri to get a better understanding of a typical episode’s dynamic and thoroughly enjoyed the episode. Guest host Josh asked just the right questions for Bianca - a true testament to his hosting.
-
nre14Good content, terrible soundI think the content and topics are great, but the audio is so far off on sound levels between the host and the guests. Pleaseeee improve and this will be one of my fave podcast. It’s just painful to adjust my volume drastically whenever the speaker changes.
-
fufuduudAmazing HR podcastThis is my favorite HR podcast by far. The topics and guest presenters are thoughtful, insightful and informative. I appreciate this podcast both as a boss and also as a single working mom of two school age children. The topics are always current and on point. I highly recommend for anyone who is in management, employee or a working parent. Keep them coming! Becca A

Steely McBeam47Act engagedThe guest speakers are all wonderful. The host could act a bit more engaged and not as rehearsed. I’m not sure he is actively listening, but instead just reading questions from a script. Needs to just have conversation with the guests to make this podcast more natural. Seems very forced for host.

kati.laroIt’s not boring, it’s learningI love the short, straight to the point format. I am only a student right now but this would be a perfect podcast for someone in the field looking for a specific topic. Great tips, questions, and relevant topics.
-
IzzycrisInternational StudentI really enjoy this podcast! I appreciate how many different topics are discussed. I personally like how you’ve covered topics that a lot of people tend to get confused about. As an International Student that works in HR I like to hear different perspectives. I enjoyed the immigrant episode and how that effects everyone here who is on the H1-B. Have you thought about creating one on F-1 students ? The new statement regarding students who’s schools are only going to do online classes will need to depart the US.
-
ithinkshesgotitGood GuestsThe guests are relatable and share good information that is easy to look up if you want to learn more. I also enjoy the short length of the podcast.
-
Tigerlily89Huge disappointmentExcellent content. Incredibly boring. Do yourself a favor and get a new host. Will come back when that happens....
-
J. BarshopA Treasure Trove of InfoJim and his guests share actionable and inspiring lessons on how to expertly vet, hire and retain rockstar talent. Highly recommend listening and subscribing to HR Works if you want the knowledge AND mindsets to find & hire the right people (and reach your overall business goals as a result)!

Bnor438Great content!!!!Consistently thought provoking. I love bringing these ideas back to my HR team :)
-
jaydwagFantastic show!!I had the honor to be a guest on show with Jim Davis. We had a fantastic conversation. The key is conversation. I go on a lot of shows where the host doesn’t say a lot and it makes it difficult. Also, Jim is very knowledge and has great expertise. Looking forward to listening to more episodes as a listener!

MizzouFan3Great contentGreat content
-
Brooke CravenAwesome PodcastThe host of HR Works highlights all aspects of HR in this can’t miss podcast. The host and expert guests offer insightful advice that is helpful to anyone that listens!
-
JessicaAndScottOverly ScriptedThe conversations were to scripted and bland without any in-depth discussion or freedom of flow between presenter and guest. It felt like I was listening to a webinar but wasn’t able to see the PowerPoint presentation.
-
BrieGFThanks for providing great content!Thank you for providing great content to your audience!
-
SFTNSSCautionThis podcast provides entry-level HR knowledge at best. The podcast is from the employer point-of-view and can be sometimes negligible with legal advice. When in doubt, treat your employees well and they will treat you as such in return.
