Love the concept of this show. Only complaint is the co-host. I like him but he’s an obvious yes man. He just agrees with whatever Eboni says and appears to have no opinions of his own which makes the dynamic boring.

It meets the objective of informing us, entertaining us, and offering a captivating blend of legal analysis and cultural insight. It’s dope. That’s just my opinion. She tackles topics fearlessly. I love that. She breaks down the law into digestible segments and makes the concept of law accessible, like Obama did politics during his administration. I can listen to Eboni all day. The production quality is also top- notch. I play these episodes on the way to my office in the morning. Dustin is an amazing bonus. The duo makes it a true gem and I hope they record new episodes soon. Before finding this pod, I dreaded my morning commutes in LA traffic. More episodes pleeeeeease!

As a man of not so much color (white), this podcast has completely changed my view of the world and refocused the lens in which I see the world, especially in the US. I think every white person should listen to this podcast. You may personally have not had a hand in creating where we are as a society today, but you (at a minimum) have the responsibility and civic duty to educate yourself on how we got here. Eboni and Dustin talk about what it's like to live in America as a person of color, the issues facing the black community, and it has literally changed my life. Educate yourself. Listen. Hey y’all love the show. just wanted to let you know a little about the situation with the principal who withheld the diplomas…from what the news is reporting, she was not fired. She was removed from the school “temporarily”, which means they’re probably waiting for the smoke to die down before they place her right back in there. I also saw that she was receiving threats, so she may have even asked to move herself 😒

Next season, we need at least 2 episodes a week please!!!!

I had the pleasure to interview Eboni on my podcast, The Ivory Tower Boiler Room, and I first started listening to "Holding Court" while doing research for our interview. I have become addicted to Eboni's legal opinions, and I've learned so much from her about not shrinking myself to make others comfortable when it comes to my unapologetic gay male literary voice! Thank you Eboni for inspiring so many of us.

Absolutely love this podcast! I of course started listening and looking into Eboni’s background following bus driver gate 🙄. I felt she was very intelligent and speaking nothing , but facts so I had to find out more about and help support my good sis. Since I’ve started listening I’ve been hooked and keep this at the top of my playlist. I greatly feel this podcast is a great way to not just stay in the loop on certain trending topics, but also a great way to gain additional knowledge on laws and legal practices and their impact on the culture. Im truly amazed at how thorough and in depth this podcast is while also remaining light hearted and mostly impartial. This one is a must listen for black folks (and others who’re for our progress) and I honestly feel that it could help us identify different laws to target for needed updates. Especially love Eboni and Dustin’s partnership. Great working relationship and great vibe for the show.

What’s going on?! I love HC w/ Eboni and Dustin, but honestly, what’s going on with the late stories/topics? I’m trying to keep up with real-time stories, at least a week out, then by Wednesdays, and I’d listen to the competitors cover those stories (specifically Black stories), then I’d listen to HC waiting to hear their take, and we’re like, WHATTTTT? So they’re not discussing this or that? For instance, I understood that Eboni attended her sorority’s conference, so the show was pre-recorded, but since then, it’s like they haven’t caught up. I thought it was just me until I came across a similar post, and I was like, wow, I thought I was tripping. However, still a GREAT SHOW, GREAT INFO; it seems to be behind as of late.

Love the show! Recommend to everyone I speak with that’s looking for new podcasts. The volume on the podcast is low but extremely high on ads. So having to blast the podcast portions in order to hear and then turn down for ad purposes makes for an unpleasant experience but not sure how yo fix it. Just fyi

I love this show so much and listen every week from Lagos Nigeria. I learn so much and so much and thoroughly enjoy both hosts. However the sound is a bit weird. I always have to turn the guest up real loud when they come on because they’re recorded so low. But when the commercials come in I’m rushing to turn down the volume … could y’all please do something about the sound and I say this respectfully because the show is amazing and I never miss it.

I love this pod and it’s so fresh and needed. Dustin and Eboni have wonderful chemistry and are lovely together. The only issue I have is the sound engineering needs some work. Dustin and Eboni are clear and sound great, but their volume is very low. Turning it up isn’t an option because the ads are about 10x louder. So it’s not really a relaxing listen since you have to constantly be ready to turn the volume down during ad breaks.

I absolutely love this podcast and I look forward to it every week. Eboni and Dustin are the perfect dynamic duo and offer a unique legal perspective of current news in the media. The production value has continued to elevate over time and I look forward to the future of this podcast. Thank you to Eboni, Dustin, the entire production team for making this podcast every week. Love the podcast! The topics are great, Eboni and Dustin are funny and feed off of each other well! My ONLY issue is the sound difference between the actual podcast and commercials… it’s a little jarring. If that can get sorted out it will definitely be 5 stars for me!
