I am new to the world of Phish and this has been so fun and enjoyable to listen too.

It’s like Chris Kuroda blasted his lights onto every major corner of the behind-the-scenes larger world of Phish! You’ll learn some of the most interesting aspects of all things related to the band - from the members, to the person all the way in the back.

Is there a way to slow down this podcast to a reasonable speed? All the voices sound ridiculously fast. I almost can’t listen to it.

I LOVED listening to your work, takes me to a simpler time when love truly did rule! Thank you for doing this, and thanks to Phish for being such an awesome band with awesome people.

Thank you for making this podcast. My first experience with Phish was Fort Collins Colorado 90. I went Hm to NJ talking about, how outrageously amazing this band called Phish was. They are going to be so big. My aunt told me I was the little annoying red head who used to drive my brother, cousin,& all there friends crazy. One of of those friends was Page😂 The next show I walked into was New Years the Boston garden 94.🌭🤯🌟 Grateful for the journey This podcast made my heart sing💛

I’ve had a long and dissonant history with the band Phish, growing up in NH and having seen them, I just didn’t get it. After listening to this well crafted podcast, I have a sincere appreciation for the band and am genuinely excited to open up their catalog of music and dive in, free of the old shackles, whatever they were, and take it all in. Thank you Dean!

I was looking for something to listen to and remembered Marky who I went to the tour ending Alpine show 2019 with said I would like this. He was right! I always heard Dean was on the outs after making money from his book in 96? Guess you cannot believe what you read on the internet. Lots of great stories from the band and even more from the staff. Over the years having chance meetings with many of these folks it brought back very fond memories. Thank you Dean and the team for making this. I really needed a smile and you provided many.

First season was pretty good. Been a fan since 92. But that was it? New season is about the NRA? That was tricky

This podcast is great! It’s so much fun getting a peak behind the curtain, and I love the avenues the podcast walks down. I’ve learned so much about the band and even fun facts about shows I attended. Loving every minute of it!

I’ve been with touring with band for 28 years now and I have such a tremendous appreciation not only for being a part of it but for knowing that things will always be evolving, extremely creative, and there is always something to learn about through this medium and all the others that these phreaking guys bring to this wonderful table of joy, spirituality and satisfaction!

This was my 1st podcast and it was amazing. It made me laugh, cry and want to Phish as much as possible. I’ve turned a few others into the podcast and they can’t keep thanking me. I highly recommend this to any music fan.

Dean blew me away back in early ‘96 as a junior in college when I picked up his book ‘The Phishing Manual’ from a little hippy store in Harvard Square. When I read Dean would be tackling this podcast on Phish I knew it would be good but I had no idea just how good! Well done sir! You really knocked this one out of the park! Thank you for your wonderful book back in the 90’s and thank you for this amazing podcast! 😊

I loved each episode. I’ve been seeing Phish since ‘95 and there were a lot of fascinating new details I learned throughout that give so much more co text to several shows and festivals I was fortunate enough to be present for. And for newer Phans, there is a wealth of background about this band we all love for you to sink your teeth into. Great job.

Such a nerdy voice, no flow, random inflections

I can’t say I’m into all of their music, but listening to the passion they have to make the whole experience special for their fans makes me want to see a Phish show. I’m planning on going this summer.

If a six star option existed, I'da hit that. I happened to hear this podcast advertised on Pandora one afternoon, and though I've taken a 15 hiatus from seeing Phish live (exception being this past summer at SPAC), my love of the Phish experience does, and forever will, course through my veins. Anyway, I was intrigued and downloaded the show, and WOW-oh-WOW, each episode...truly riveting. I love the show's surprising design. It tunnels into unexpected territories and features interviews with so many of the people who have contributed to and been inspired by the Phish phenomenon. But what moved me most was listening to Page, Mike, John, and Trey speak their truths on so many topics. ("Yes, and..." so good!) What a delight to feel an intimate connection to the band members on a real, human level. Good, good, good stuff. Thanks to all those whose talents made 11 episodes rich and rewarding.

I can’t believe how good this podcast is! Always wanted to know more about the band. I remember when my sisters bf introduced me to Phish music. Living in Vermont feels like everyone should appreciate what the guys do for the Green Mountain state!

Facts.

Anyone who is a Phish Pan for a long time or even new will love this story of listening to the ones who grew around the band. Hearing all of their stories makes your heart melt. My first show was Deer Creek 94 but the Louisville Gardens 95 show is what blew me away and still to this day love Phish as much as I did the first day. Would love to be part of the crew as a dream job one day and this podcast shows that all the people who work for and with them love it as much as the Phans. Much love to Long May They Run!!

Although I have never toured to see the band on multiple stops, I have appreciated the band since seeing a snippet of their show in Somerville, MA in Fall 90 (cajoled a security guard into letting us in the backfield during Good Times). This podcast made me appreciate this band on a profoundly deeper level. One word, thanks!

I don’t normally listen to podcasts but if you’re a fan of live music or Phish this is the podcast for you. It’s mostly clips of the band or people associated with the band talking with some direction from the host. The hard part is not listening to them all in one day!!!

Appointment listening. Podcast rips, got chills in the very first episode and immediately sent the link to my mom, whose always been supportive of my love for Phish, even if she didn’t quite get IT herself. Great interviews with band and Phish, Inc. Positively nails the community and that we’re all in this together!

Can’t express how insightful and engaging this podcast series is. Sooo good. The producers give an All Access perspective with a ton of interviews and commentary from the members of Phish.

I learned so much from this podcast but mostly I understood how much these four musicians love each other and it is that love that makes their music so special. The phish community is bound together because this collective love is shared and cherished. Two comments on details. I wanted a narrators voice that was more even toned. I wish there was more from Andy Gadiel.

Loved it, but the narrator really does need to work on his style. Too much emphasis on inconsequential words, odd pauses, etc. Or maybe cut back on the caffeine.

5 stars because Trey mentioned that he would love to see the talking heads have a reunion tour. That is my dream too. I can’t change you, looks like I can’t change you...We don’t have to look backwards we can look backstage, always moving forward - to the people that believe in music without fear. Also, New Potato Caboose got a mention, my uncle was the bass player before they got signed. He did not have the “look” so they fired him

The podcast is great, especially since it does not chronicle the band from the start to the present. But the host should get someone else to narrate. All of his sentences move to a vocal height — then pause—then go down. He also. Has strange pauses. In his sentences. This even happens during the ads. He did such a great job writing the show, but I only stuck it out because I like Phish so much. Do another season but get another narrator.

This gives an overall great view of the band for newcomers. As well, as a Phish fan for going on a decade, this podcast gives an in-depth view of the band and surrounding crew and associates, much in the likes of Between Me and My Mind. Thank you so much, as you have solidified my love for this band even more
