The Turn After Show recaps, reviews and discusses episodes of AMC's Turn.Show Summary: After scoring a hit with a series set in the 1960s, AMC travels much further back in time for "TURN: Washington's Spies," a Revolutionary War-era drama based on the same-named Alexander Rose novel. The series goes beyond the battlefront to a conflict involving everyday men and women, taking place in a cryptic world of double agents, covert operations and code-breaking. It revolves around Abe Woodhull, a young farmer torn between loyalty to his Tory background and respect for those who fight for the Patriot cause. Living on British-occupied Long Island, Abe joins a group of his childhood friends to form what becomes known as the Culper Ring, a spy network charged with sniffing out British military strategy. Under the direction of Gen. Washington, Abe and his fellow agents help turn the war to the Continentals' favor, and their daring efforts ultimately serve as the foundation for modern espionage.

    Turn
The aftershow has been really fun and to listen to.In addition to actors from the show, they had writers on as well. It's been interesting to found out about scenes that were cut from episodes and how and where certain things were shot.

Worth a listen, and relisten, and relisten
The Turn After Show is absolutely fantastic. It's so much fun to listen to Megan and Katie discuss the episode with as much enthusiasm for the show as I have. Their passion is obvious and their acuity brings new found insight to episodes, characters, and scenes. The after show is a wonderful resource to discover more about the Culper Ring, history, and the actors.

    S3 Premiere
I liked your podcast overall and the enthusiasm was great. I was very disappointed however that you both totally blew off John Andre’s part in the premiere. I thought it was pivotal and very heartbreaking and can’t believe you left it out!

Please come back for season 3!
Very well done aftershow, recaps and cast interviews-even when the host has had to go it alone. You are the only podcast for this show that I know of so please come back for Season 3 starting in April 2016!

    Hush
This after-show show is fun. They do go over the plot and charactors even with the large artistic licence the show takes on with the truth. The real story is exciting enough without the turn around they have done with the Abe Woodhull (he finally has decided by the second episode how to pronounce his own name. It should be pronouced Woodell as that was the custom. I do have a background in history, having studied Intelligence History for over 30 years. The hosts of the Afterbuzz show are relectant to look up the history of the Culper ring (I wish they would get to the story of the ring. It was Washington who asked Tallmage to form the ring as the spies that had been sent had been caught and hung by the British. Tallmage was the Yale classmate of Nathan Hale. Tallmage and Hale took part in a debate where they argued that daughters should be educated; they won. Also Anna Strong was in her forties and had six children at the time of the Revolution. The back story of Woodhull's father being a Tory is also made up out of whole cloth. I hope Turn gets to the espionage and tell the history of how a small band of spies made a large contribution of the US winning its indepence.

    Love the aftershow!!!!
The show is growing on me but you all put on a great aftershow. Best ensemble that Afterbuzz has. Love listening on my way to work. Need a sound effect for each turn pun. Also, can't find the show on the iTunes standalone app. May be missing it. Keep it up!
