I have returned to see how bad the minor league takes are
I’ve heard some horrendous claims second hand, I am Here to see it for myself.

    Don’t recommend it
Probably the worst Mets podcast available. Seem like nice people though

At least it is not another 'homer' 'pompom' podcast...

    Amazin WOKE Podcast
This team is more interested in giving their woke take on the Mets than analyzing the team itself. The Mets sign Nimmo to a big deal and the first comment about it is that he is probably homophobic. This is a common theme generally. If you like listening to judgy woke takes this is your pod.

    Very Amateur
In a world where there are dozens of podcasts for literally any super specific topic, if you are looking for a New York Mets only podcast, this is a great option if your preference is ill-informed opinions from people Who talk over each other, with terrible audio quality. And they curse a lot, so it’s… edgy? I dunno.

Stop telling met fans how we should feel
I wish you would stop giving your opinion on fans who don’t react the way you want and just tell us your reactions and observations about the mets. I don’t care if you think other people should react only the way you do. Instead how about some real insights about the mets not met fans. That said i am ecstatic with mets start and wish you talked about that.

    Randy Tate
Thoroughly enjoy the UnforMETable podcast. However, I distinctly recall the late Randy Tate being a right handed pitcher.

Pod of their own is good but
Pod of their own is good. Otherwise give the guys some coffee when they talk. It’s monotonous .

    APOTO Used to be great
I don’t know what happened. It’s devolved into yelling and looking for things just to yell about. Facts are frequently forgotten or glossed over to get to the yelling. The Mets are a terrible organization, everyone knows that. But 75 minutes a week of feeling terrible because you root for them isn’t productive for anyone. It’s just gotten so negative. As a father of two toddler girls, I loved the different perspective and learned a lot about how others think and feel, things I had never thought of in certain ways. But that message has become lost to the point where it’s almost offensive. The tipping point was when they laughed through talking about Zack Scott’s arrest. Scott is an alcoholic. There was no empathy for the man. For a podcast that preaches open minded thinking and understanding. There was none. Brian and Chris gave a nice little into about Zack Scott and alcoholism before they addressed the arrest. APOTO laughed at him. That’s where the pod has devolved to.

    APOTO and vocal fry
The virtue signaling is at an all time high. The last thing I heard was these women assert that the only reason Baez and Lindor caught more heat for the thumbs down controversy was because of their race. They spend a lot of time thinking about people’s skin color.

    A Pod of Their Own
I recently discovered A Pod of Their Own and it’s exceptional! A great change of pace from the normal woeful Mets media.

    A Pod of their Own
The women on this pod have been a tremendous addition for us Met fans. Their voices are knowledgable, different, and sharp. They know the game and they love the Mets. It is these women who took the lead in highlighting the issues the Mets had with players who committed domestic violence, and they were front and center about the travesty of even considering Trevor Bauer. We need more voices like this out there. Keep it up!

A Pod of their Own rules
That podcast is more of what the Internet needs, really smart women talking about baseball in a fun and engaging way. More of this please, Internet.

    A Pod of Their Own!
Love all the shows & specifically want to shout out the gals at A Pod of Their Own, who do great work & also did a great job on the SB Nation live Home Run Derby Greenroom!

    Sprained my ears listening
Ugh, just awful. The show used to be fine, but has become overly politicized nonsense. Skip it.

It’s just not very good. Sounds like the girls don’t even prep. They have knowledge but there’s zero flow .. kinda cringe worthy

SB Nation fails on this one
This is likely the most boring, poorly produced Mets podcast on the market and surprisingly from SB Nation. This is amateur league!
  • Brian8675309
    One of the worst
I’m generally an SB Nation fan but this is not their best work. Specifically, the A Pod Of Their Own is unlistenable. Listen to the Jared Porter postmortem episode if you like to hear women generalize men , then that’s the content for you! I’ve tried listening to A Pod many times but that was the last straw for me. Not worth the strain on the ears!

Excellent Mets Pod, RE: Episode 48
Jason Castro is perfect backup catcher for McCann

    Unbearable.
Much like baseball this pod can’t stay away from wokemare politics. Stick to baseball.
  • jbeckr
Listen for Mets news, leave because of their idiotic politics
80% of time is spent on politics, not Mets news. A waste of time.

    Smart and Valuable
Allison, Linda and Maggie engage in a serious conversation about a different topic that effects baseball and society each week. The discussions are intelligent, informative, and (when appropriate) funny. A real grand slam — err, group dong — of a podcast!
  • BellingerBombs
Mets Fans - You need A Pod of Their Own in your playlist!
I Cano stress this enough - Allison, Linda, and Maggie are a breath of fresh air for the Mets Familia and sports podcasts in general. No Stephen A. Smith style hot takes here, just thoughtful insight about the Mets and baseball mixed with the Wright amount of laughs. I find it Conforting to listen to when I’m behind the Wheeler or on my yoga Matz. No need to find Nimmo, just find that subscribe button and mash it down like Thor’s hammer because A Pod of Their Own is truly a masterPiazza!

    APOTO
The A Pod of Their Own segment of the week is really good when they talk about the Mets. It’s really refreshing to hear woman talking about baseball over the typical sports guys who love to pontificate about nothing on the radio. I kind of wish they spent more time on the Mets and less on social justice issues. I’m not saying there is no place for it but it’s a little frustrating when there is less than twenty minutes of a Mets podcast and about thirty minutes of social/political conversation. I value what is said and the validity of every issue they speak on but I really just come here for the Mets. These women are very knowledgeable and have great commentary on all things Mets, I just would like to hear more of it.

A Pod of Their Own hits it outta here (outta here)
No-doubter about it: "A Pod of Their Own" is the best Mets podcast! It's simply a Matzterpiece. We should all McNeil down before the glory of this show. As listeners, Wheeler'n so much from the excellent hosts, Allison, Linda, and Maggie, who clearly Noah-lot about the Mets. Their Confortoble rapport with each other makes for an entertaining show about Mets baseball and other (often overlooked) ideas and issues within the sport. One Canó-ly hope it continues for seasons to come, because they are doing it Wright. I would recommend this show with reckless a-Brandon. It (polar) bears re-Pete'ing: Listen to this show!

    A Pod Of Their Own
Loving the new format, especially A Pod Of Their Own. Great perspective and positivity!

A pod of their own. More, please
As a longtime Mets fan - and a lifetime woman - I really appreciate hearing women discussing baseball. Audio problem with your call-in commentator...was it deliberate? Surely they’ve got engineers over there who can fix things like that. This deserves to be more than a one-off pod.

    A Pod Of Their Own
Love the work that Allison and the rest of the crew do. I highly recommend their podcast as well as the regular AA podcast.

    APOTO
A Pod of Their Own is legitimately one of the best Mets podcasts out there! A unique perspective on not only the Amazin’s but also the sport in general. Great discussion regarding the team and the intersection of society and baseball. #LGM

    Like, Um, Yeah
Chris might be, like, um, yeah, the worst podcast interviewer/host I’ve, like, um, yeah, ever heard. Um...like, yeah.

    Disappointing
If you want to hear shallow analysis intermingled with the repetitive drone of “Mets are cheap” this is the place to go.
  • Actionjackson0815
    Great!
Lots of great insight and I find myself agreeing with a lot of the points that the hosts make. They are very objective and still use a little bit of well-placed subjectivity. I usually can’t wait until the next episode comes out.

    Informed, but smarmy
Smarmy, snarky, revoltingly hipster. Just barely managed to put up with those things, but now it's getting a little political, too... no thanks. They do know baseball and they do know the Mets, I'll give 'em that for sure.

Drown your sorrow (and celebrate success on occasion). Great breakdown of mets major and minor league teams.

    Best sports podcast
As a Mets fan this podcast is a must. This show has different segments which all apply to Mets fans. Looking into the Minor league system, the past history of the team and the current status of the organization its well covered in this podcast. The guys keep the show fresh and innovative. I don't always agree with them but I do appreciate their more analytical view of baseball than I would apply. So hey you do learn some new things. Its cool because you're able to put together the analytical view plus the old-school view os the game of baseball and how to view the game in a more well-rounded scope. David Ramos Go Mets

Pros: great in depth Mets information Prospect content Interesting guests Cons: not enough mountain goat references and wrestling conversations since Jeff departed as host.

    Great podcast
As a out of market Mets fan, this podcast is great for someone with limited access to Mets media. These guys are very knowledgable and are devoted fans.

A must listen podcast for all Mets fans!
Amazin' Avenue Audio is an awesome Mets podcast run by the great writers over at Amazin' Avenue. If you are Mets fan who has been around since the team's beginning or a fan that just started watching the team today, this is the go to podcast to listen to. You get a pleasent mix of statistical analysis, as well snipets of Mets info and trivia you might never have known. There has been a change of hosts and format to the podcast recently. I feel the change has brought refreshing mix to the show, and the new segments and introduction of more of the sites other writers is very well received. While we miss the previous host Jeff's dry sense of humor and scouting prowess, the new host Brian is doing a great job at continuing to uphold this high caliber Mets podcast that we've all grown to love and to deliver the premium content that we come to expect. Keep up the great job guys! All the effort you put in is much appreciated. I always look forward every week to that next new episode of Amazin' Avenue Audio!

    Intelligent Mets Talk
Love the podcast, the level of discussion is always high, whether it be about the Mets, Japanese wrestling or second division soccer in a country far, far away. Jeff is a great host, and while I love all the co-hosts, I gotta admit Steve Sypa is my favorite. Thanks for the podcasts, Gents.

    Don't miss an episode
5 stars, great banter every episode. I look forward to each and every episode on my commute to work. Jeff and guests do a great job with general Mets discussion before transitioning into the episode's focus. Old Fashions all around
