Look, this is the baseball podcast you always wanted. Listening to Drew is like listening to your impossibly cool older brother talk about the game. And the whole gang is smart, funny & well spoken. I've been listening for 2 full MLB seasons now so no small sample size caveats are necessary. I decide to finally review because these men further my enjoyment of the great game of baseball. If you don't enjoy Getting Blanked there ain't a whole lot I can do for you, Son...

I do consider myself a somewhat evolved baseball fan and enjoy the perspective of the new format, but man I miss the dick and fart jokes.

EDIT: So, as much as I enjoy this podcast, (and I still think it's a good podcast), when you refer to a team's fans as "trash", like you did with Braves fans this past week, you lose my subscription. I'm sure that's irrelevent to you, and there is a strong case to be made that the actions of the fans during last year's wild card play-in game were classless. Having said that, painting with that broad a brush is both unfair and obnoxious.

Found this gem after ESPN destroyed their baseball product. I really like the commentary and narrative. They are extremely informed, funny, and have the ability to make critical statements. Overall a very good product.

Parkes has completely embraced his role as heel slash Stoeten-foil. That being said, every time he mentions the Giants -- or, really, speaks at all -- I want to boil my own face. #Zubes.

Well, certainly better than Buster Olney's garbage at ESPN. Some intelligent discussion in Getting Blanked. The personalities of the hosts are grating at times. Dustin especially is an arrogant, know-it-all hipster. Still, some good insight here and they present a modern perspective on the game.

I liked the Hockey Shows from The Score and decided after dropping Baseball Today to give their Baseball show a chance. It was just ok for the most part but the hosts did get annoying after a while. It doesn't really have that same personality as Backhand Shelf (The Score's Hockey Show) and with The Baseball Show with Rany and Joe coming back, I've found a better podcast.

This podcast (and the Drunk Jays Fans podcast, done by the same crew) has its moments but, for the most part, is pretty low-rent. It aims to be irreverent, but it is often just annoying. Each program basically consists of the hosts doing sarcastic (and incredibly repetitive) impressions of media and fan commentary, followed by protracted monologues that fetishize some Sabermetric stat du jour. Again, it has its moments and can be occasionally entertaining, but only in small doses.

I'm a huge fantasy baseball fan and a bigger baseball fan. This has to be one of the best baseball podcast out there. I try to listen to at least 3-4 podcast a day and this is up there for sure! Keep up the great work guys!
