I watched the YouTube videos of this show and I’m only now finding the podcast version!!

I’m guessing it’s because of her twins and tv/movie work, but I miss this podcast so much. I wish it would come back :’(

Michelle was one of my very favorite comedians on 2 Dope Queens. I was so happy that she started her own podcast. I especially liked the eps with DL Hughley and Aparna Nancharla, but honestly, every one has been pleasant. Rob is the sleeper star here (come for Michelle, stay for Rob). A great replacement for the dinner party download. It's great for listening during work stuff that you wish you had company for. Very easy listening

I absolutely love this woman! I heard about Michelle first watching the 2 Dope Queens show on HBO, then saw more of her stand up. She is so funny and relatable! I was so excited to find out she had her very own podcast!! OMG! I wish she was my Aunty so I could be around her all the time! One of my favorite comedians!!! Omg I recently heard of Michelle through 2 Dope Queens HBO show and podcast 2 days ago and I looked her up trying to figure out who she is!!! She is really funny and as a female I love her jokes as I can relate. So excited to find this podcast!!!!☺️

I just happened across this wonderful podcast and instantly became addicted. Love her and the guests she has on the show. It’s so refreshing and just a different style of comedy that I needed in my life. Haha I love the “Asking for a friend” and the “what did I learn” segments she does every show. Too funny :).

Those two weeks without Whenever were gloomy AF. Truly made Tuesdays the highlight of my work week.

Really hope there is another season. But Michelle, the cussing could be less.

I want to like the show, I really do and I definitely tune in but I’m not a huge fan. It’s fine for some background noise and occasional chuckle.

I was hoping this would be as good as 2 Dope Queens or Sooo Many White Guys, but unfortunately this podcast doesn’t come close. Michelle Buteau was funny on 2 Dope Queens, but she doesn’t do well in the late night format. She says wildly inappropriate things to guests that aren’t funny, laughs very loudly at things they say that aren’t funny, and overall just tries way too hard to make it all work. She is sometimes demeaning to audience members (“What is up with that laugh?!” or “Look who walked in late!”) and you can tell that she can’t work an audience quite the way Jessica Williams or Phoebe Robinson can. I listened to the first 5 episodes, and I only laughed out loud about 3 times. Two of those laughs were from when Phoebe was on as a guest and the other one was when Michelle told a joke and nobody in the audience laughed (yet she persisted and tried the joke again at the end of the podcast. Yikes.) Episode 6 was the last straw for me as it as all feel-bad comedy (the opposite of 2 Dope Queens), from Michelle’s jokes to her outrageously rude guest Matteo Lane (I’ve never heard of him and hope to never hear of him again. Internalized homophobia much?) It’s all just a shame. The one good thing I can say is the soundtrack is amazing. Hopefully I can find something else funny to listen to as 2 Dope Queens is on hiatus and SMWG is between seasons.

Love love love Michelle and Rob. This is a great show! Side note: Michelle please don’t ever let anyone host your show again. The female stand in was very disappointing. Other than that I hope there’s a new season coming soon!

I am Always looking forward to a notification saying that she has done another podcast. I get bummed when she’s out of town and she has someone else in her place but the show is amazing! I first found her through 2 Dope Queens. LOVE EM ALL!

Lose Rob! I appreciate all of his accomplishments but he is not Co-host material. His commentary makes me want to cook a hot pocket in time for the ending. EVERYTHING else...GOLD!!!

I listen to this show on my way to work and now it’s way better. She’s funny and keeps the energy alive with stories and quips. She brings on great guests that are equally as funny. It perks up my commute. Give it a shot!

This podcast has quickly become my new favourite. Michelle is open, honest and hilarious, Rob is a fabulous co-host/music producer and they get high profile guests and talk about a range of topics. Must listen!
