donmarvinWow!I recently binge-listened to this podcast and it was so interesting and informative like nothing else I’ve listened to! I started with the most recent episodes and worked my way thru in reverse chronological order. As I got to the old episodes I didn’t enjoy them as much, so clearly the podcast improved greatly with time. I haven’t seen any new episodes posted for awhile. I hope it hasn’t been cancelled.

NM PICould be five stars, but..Show notes (or at least a title and quick bio) for each episode would be so helpful. Topics are usually interesting and informative but the host usually comes across as not paying attention to her guest, sometimes giving just an occasional uh-huh, or mmm. It’s like she’s busy typing emails or eating a sandwich or something. It’s a shame really, the PI world could use a great podcast, and this one could be it, but the host doesn’t seem to be interested in improving.

OllieT1000Great content, one requestI love the content, the special guests, I’ve learned SO much from listening. I also love the fact that Francie always highlights upcoming conferences and training events; hope to see more of those that are open to PI’s (which I am) and the general public. One request: can you please go back to labeling the episode and/or providing a description? There are specific newer podcasts I want to listen to again because of the content but I’m struggling to find them without a label.

Say AaaaahWhat happened to the show description?So...we have to download each show and be surprised about the content? What’s up with that?

RHofWoNo episode info = Not listeningPerhaps I would enjoy this podcast if each episode had a title or description. As it is now, I have no idea what I will be listening to.

TravbrackGreat content. Horrible audio.I'd really enjoy listening to this podcast if the audio was improved. In the episode I heard, the interviewer was clearly recorded from a Skype call on a dodgy Internet connection, and the interviewees were recorded from old school phone lines. You don't need a fancy studio and condenser mics, just have everyone record voice memos on their smartphones and mix the files together using the raw Skype call we hear as reference. That would be a huge improvement.

Meg537389Obviously DistractedThe content of the show can be hit or miss depending on the guest, as Francie does nothing to help shape or lead the discussion. Francie is very obviously distracted during the show. Instead of creating a discourse between professionals the following behavior is more likely: -her typing away, which is distracting since it is so loud -her being flustered when the guest stops talking, not knowing what to say/ask next since she was not paying attention -during one episode she was using packaging tape?! She could stand to show some deference to her guests. The show could be so much more.

LivermoreKateNatalee Holloway episodeIt took about 30min into the Natalee Holloway episode to actually start sort of talking about the case. U could've summarized the guest's background in 1 minute. Haven't heard any of the other podcasts, but this one was so boring I had to fast forward through it.
