Absolutely love the Heavyweight podcast! There are so many times that it makes me smile and laugh out loud, and even tear up. It’s very lighthearted but deep. Jonathan is the greatest! And I love love love there theme song. I listen to a number of podcasts.Many are science or self-help. And then there’s the documentary types from Serial. It’s so refreshing to take a break from the weight of those and be entertained on another level. Thank you thank you so much to the entire team that puts this together.

I found this podcast after it had already been canceled. It is my absolute favorite and I am almost through all of the episodes and wanting more. I love the humor and the humanity. I laugh and weep almost every single episode. It is so therapeutic and it’s helped me work through some of my own troubling experiences from my past. Please bring it back!

...and I just came to the last episodes to find out the show was cut! So sad and such a bad choice to cut this show. Amazing, wonderful stories that need to be told. I have thoroughly enjoyed Jonathan's wit and compassion. I have told everyone about it. I hope they find another producer to help them continue to make these wonderful podcasts. ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been listening to this podcast off and on for the last few years and always love coming back to it. I’ve laughed, cried, downloaded & shared particularly impactful episodes to share with loved ones. It really does an amazing job of presenting the intricacies of being human and harboring weight, often for a lifetime. Jonathan is an incredibly affable narrator with the best comedic timing I’ve ever witnessed. I’m starting to get down to just a handful of unplayed episodes and am panicking a bit that the next season appears to be a bit tentative. This podcast is truly healing to the spirit and I hope it comes back soon. Massive thank you to Jonathan and his team for providing these stories.

I’m still looking for a show that compares to this, and cannot find it. For a single show to be so hilarious and also so touching is extraordinary and uncommon. It’s simply my favorite podcast ever.

The phone call intro could be me and my best friend any day. Most episodes make me laugh and cry both. Brilliantly done, perfectly produced, exceptional program- my absolute favorite across the many genres and things I listen to. Love this show, please bring back.

The podcast ‘The Retrievals’ included the episode ‘Another Roadside Attraction’ and I cried so much! It got me thinking on how people may have a different story about who we are based on what parts of our lives we share with them. Pam’s life was filled with so much pain. The closing statements made me cry so much and I’m still thinking about this episode two weeks later. ‘Victor & Maite’ is my new favorite and I can’t wait to hear the others!

This is a great podcast! Please bring it back! I Want and need more please!
