This podcast is deeply enlightening and so incredibly funny. It’s really my favorite and sometimes I listen to episodes a few times to process and integrate the information. The best!

These are the kind of conversations that are hard to find, smart, wide ranging, truly thoughtful ,definitely wonderfully politically reactive and also will make you laugh, sometimes even at yourself. I’ve only recently came across this podcast but I’m finding going back and listening to even the very beginning ones very much worthwhile.

Seems like a bit of love and understanding could help but all I got was hate. Hate does not fix hate. I tried to listen but I’m not hearing solutions just hate. Sad sad sad.

I hate writing reviews, but Hari told me to write one or I wouldn’t get any more of my dessert. Five stars, though.

My fave!! Blends serious topics with humor !!!

As we live thru yet another global rise in fascism and America normalizes more and more instant erasure of far right extremist action and intent, it is more important than ever that we have accessible voices for the true left that lies beyond neoliberalism. One of the most important things that we need right now is people helping each other to reinforce the truth we are living in the face of constant gaslighting. I am very thankful that Kamau and Hari are able to deliver a dose of that while adding levity without detracting from the gravity of the message.

News podcasts are so important but can be depressing. Not so with this one, which manages to be truly funny and entertaining in addition to informative and critical. Kondabolu and Bell have a great rapport and are a pleasure to listen to, no matter how grim the subject matter at hand may be. I really liked the episode where they talked about things they got wrong and corrected themselves - we need more of that in the media. Really can’t wait for the next season!

I love how thoughtful and funny this podcast is. It’s a great way for me to stay up to date with the news without (just) screaming in rage all the time. I like the blend of the personal and the political too. Can’t wait for Season 4!

Unfortunately far more ideological than analytical, and not really any humor. Hosts and guests mostly agree. I think the point of this podcast is to proselytize their politics...

Perfect blend of comedy and politics with two of the best hosts I can imagine. Great chemistry, thoughtful topics, and fun humor.

Completely amazing show. I ingest political commentary almost obsessively. I listen to several different political podcasts. This podcast resonates with me because the subject matter is viewed through the lens of the oppressed. Great conversations, no bias and I love that corrections are made when needed. Highly recommended for understanding the full view of American society. Also, the comedy is top notch. I laugh as much as I learn.

The only show that can make me laugh about politics instead of cry. Sometimes cry laugh.

I enjoy their thoughtfulness and humor. I like how you were able to turn errors made into teaching moments for us all. Yes there should be another season.

Hari and Kamau address vital topics with smart perspectives and a sense of humor that makes it fun to listen while still taking the issues seriously. I look forward to this show every week.

I listened to the first run of the show, then stayed subscribed in case it came back. Definitely been listening every week since the new season debuted, and it has been just as wonderful! Hari and Kamau always interview engaging guests about topics that matter right now. I hope they come back for another season!

I am pleased/ashamed to say I have learned so much from this show over the years. It’s amazing how much greater depth and nuance of coverage these two hosts bring to their subjects, especially by having directly impacted or knowledgeable people on to share their experience. They have legitimately broadened my horizons, deepened my empathy, and made me laugh. This is probably the single most consistently impactful piece of media I consume.

Thanks for always having great conversations. The guest are always so insightful. And the joke tellers are pretty cool too!

I love both Hari and Kamau individually. We have actually invited Hari to speak/perform with a charity I am on the board of and he was great! I enjoyed listening to the both of these guys together. The guests were so wonderful and I liked how they had a few different guests/topics in one episode.
