D047295727Doctor - of Chiropractic??? Beware yall! This “doctor” is not a medical professional- he is a chiropractor. If you want to learn pseudoscience, plus hear extremely biased opinions presented as fact, plus a ton of rambling and frankly bad interviews, this podcast is for you…

SbranishBinge Listening!I found Dr. Berlin & his podcast through Hilary Duff and her birth story, but I have been listening almost non-stop since! Dr. Berlin has such a peaceful demeanor, seems very humble and is so enjoyable to listen to! His guests are so interesting! Overall GREAT podcast and so informative!
-
Saintpurrtrick“Fertility journey”A note for future episodes - some of us have really struggled with infertility, recurrent miscarriage, etc and saying a guest will be discussing her “fertility journey” when the episode states that she got pregnant on the first try is just unnecessary.
-
nkmiller01Guests are sometimes ridiculous but still like Dr. BerlinI do really like this podcast because Dr. Berlin has a gentle demeanor and asks a lot of interesting questions. However, some of the guests are just so self absorbed, it’s cringy to listen to. Women who hire videographers AND photographers (for first time home births…. girl, this is not your wedding). It does always make me chuckle because the guests who are the most extra always end up medicated at the hospital after laboring at home in pain for 24 hours unnecessarily. I’m not sure why so many of these women put so much pressure on these ridiculous birth plans so they can be as “natural” and “pure” and “manifesting” as possible. Anyway, lots of eye rolls, but 4 stars because I can’t stop listening even though many guests are living on another planet.

Jerome Shaw 🤲🏾Awesome information and guests!Listened to episode “Michele Maturo-After”. Love the intro! Very lively and upbeat. Great interview with Michele. Enjoyed hearing from her experience. What a champion that she was able to go through that experience. I can only imagine the trials that she was tasked with. Great guests and great questions. Enjoy your interviewing style. Recommend this podcast to any expecting parents or people who want to learn about informed pregnancy.

Esther GrubbsGreat, informative and funny podcastThis is one of my favorite birth podcasts and I listen to A LOT. I love the balance of information, birth stories, and other parenthood/pregnancy topics. Doctor Berlin is charming and funny and a joy to listen to. I love that he discusses a lot of different kinds of birth and explores peoples reasoning for the choices they make. Keep doing what you’re doing!
-
JKounterFave pregnancy podcastI listened to this podcast religiously while I was pregnant with both of my babies and it was so inspiring and informative! Very entertaining too
-
lina 1563ExcellentInformative, funny, entertaining, and a great range of topics!

spinfencer26Dr. Jay Gordon did address age riskWhy didn’t you address the facts that the risk of severe infection or death from COVID-19, statistically is much much much lower for younger, healthy people, when assessing the risk benefits to youth vaccination? You both ignored this completely! That’s the biggest factor of the calculation!

NanCholaKnowledge is powerI have learned SOO much from Dr. Berlin’s podcast, it’s one of my favorite to listen to. I started when my sister was pregnant with her first and never stopped (and I don’t even have kids yet!). But knowledge is power and I know all this information will empower me when I’m the birthing person.

figaro1818Not my fav. - pick and choose episodesI agree with some other reviews that say at home birth is pushed in this podcast. While he and the guests try at times to say that all birth is the same, it just feels like the “natural” at-home birth experience is the ideal which sets up any other chosen birth experience as less than. I just think that’s maybe an inherent bias with his practice and the people that go to see him who are then on the podcast. I pick and choose episodes to listen to, mainly the before/after birth stories from the people that peak my interest.
-
Dpippen👏👏👏My baby is almost 2 and I still love listening!!
-
afrito210Love LaborLove these episodes! They are so fascinating to hear real women’s Peres or five of birth before and after, as well as the professionals and their perspective. Cannot recommend these enough, unless of course you don’t like labor and delivery stories. 🤣
-
sdl2019Nice for someI was enjoying the birth stories but ultimately it pushes the at home birth narrative that isn’t accessible to all and puts unnecessary pressure on women. During the Mandy Moore episode I would’ve expected the host to say “and hey, if you can’t have an at home birth next time like you want that’s OK” but instead I had to hear her blame her body for not meeting this ideal. I wanted to give her a hug!
-
Chantalmarie89Excited to Listen MoreI checked out the latest episode to hear Hilary Duff’s recent home birth experience (I have an unmedicated birth coming up in a few months - plus I was a huge Lizzie McGuire fan, obviously) but the podcast was so great I subscribed and I’m definitely going to listen to more episodes.
-
Canonymous2021Frequent interruption of guestsI really wanted to like this podcast. Dr. Berlin has some amazing guests, but I was shocked at the frequency at which he interrupts his guests. He asks a question, they begin to answer, and he interjects with another question or comment. Please take this as constructive criticism - I would love to give this another shot in the future!

cynwin00Best pregnancy podcastI listened to Dr Berlin’s podcast throughout my entire first pregnancy and now again with #2. I appreciate the wealth of information and wide variety of topics he goes through. Even just to get a basic understanding of a specific topic, the discussions bring up ideas and points I can further research on my own if desired. I love the mix of birth stories (home, hospital, transfers, mixed) plus birth professionals who discuss specific test results or topics. I have listened to other pregnancy podcasts but this is the one I always go back to as being the most beneficial. I’m so thankful for everything that I have learned here, especially for the specific conditions that arose in my own personal pregnancy journey.

Alyssa_weberSo easy to understand. What I love: Dr Berlin breaks things down in a very easy to understand way. This was my favorite podcast during my first pregnancy and is still my favorite now during my second. He’s great at holding your attention and does I’m his interviews in a very conversational way that keeps me listening. I love it! What I wish was different: He does a lot of before and after birth stories, which is great, but I wish he covered a few more topics. He is a chiropractor and a doula and I think many other things so I would love to hear more of a breakdown on the importance of each of those during pregnancy and labor. Especially “what is a doula”. Also Specifically I’d love to hear something on 2 under 2. But over all, I highly highly recommend this podcast to any pregnant woman and for expecting parents!
-
Naomi_RevRelevant and EnjoyableFor the anxious parents who want to do the absolute best for their unborn babies, this podcast is for you. The content is so relatable, especially for first time parents.
-
Jess30000000000Pseudo scienceIf you want to listen to pseudo science from “professionals” with an obvious agenda, this podcast is for you. I was shocked by how the hosts and guests blatantly push misinformation and even flat out conspiracy theories. Yikes. Hard pass.
-
amaldo137Literally my favorite pregnancy podcastI listened to this podcast every single day during my pregnancy and even now after and he’s a year old. There is something so comforting when I hear the, intro it brings me right back to my walks while I was pregnant and waiting for our guy to come. Seriously so so informative and so great. Love you Dr. Berlin.
-
ER3525The Best!I am still confused by the fact that my baby can supposedly hear and remember voices from the womb BUT if that is in fact true then she will be confused that Dr. Berlin isn’t someone we actually know. This podcast has been so helpful and reassuring and Dr. Berlin is a really enjoyable and knowledgeable interviewer. So glad I found this!
-
Angela FanninFantastic ResourceThis podcast has been my bible while I’ve been pregnant with my first child. It has helped ease a lot of fears (unknown things mostly), prepared me on what to expect, set realistic expectations for labor and birthing based on real life accounts and more. I love Dr. Berlin’s comforting and kind approach but enjoy all of his guests with evidence based information! I have been recommending the podcast to friends who are also expecting and have even had my husband listen to a few key episodes to help prepare him as well. Thank you for all you do and helping new moms and moms in general.
-
Lexi JabLook forward to new episodesThis is such a great podcast to learn more about pregnancy and giving birth

courtpullAmazing podcastAs a healthcare provider I love this podcast! Informative, funny, and realistic thanks Dr B

Bretatel_#1 podcast you should be listening to if your expecting, a parent, or medical professional.I love, love, love this podcast. I have listened to every single episode multiple times, and feel like I just learn so much more each time. Whether it’s from another person’s perspective, or information I missed the first time I listened. Regardless, this podcast is so informational regarding pregnancy, postpartum/PPD, labor, times of births, medications, medical emergencies/high risk pregnancies, opinions from midwives, OBGYNs, MSCPs, doulas, etc. I am a mother of four, soon to be five and my god this podcast helps me feel a little less alone. Hearing the stories from many women and their powerful births is awesome. Dr. Berlin if you ever want a New England momma to give you a Boston point of view births let me know!
-
brindseyLove the Birth StoriesI listen to Dr. Berlin’s podcast for the birth stories or before/afters and mostly skip his other episodes. I believe in vaccinations and am probably less “holistic” than a lot of his guests so I just don’t listen to content I know I’ll disagree with. His birth story interviews are very informative and I like that he knows most of the women from his work; they seem more relaxed with him and he asks in depth questions. I highly recommend his interview with Amy Schumer about HG, very informative.
-
VeronicaGrantMy favorite pregnancy podcast!I was skeptical of a pregnancy podcast by a man, but dr. Berlin’s show is my favorite! He’s a great interviewer, had great guests, and is really able to let his guests shine when they’re talking about an area he’s not an expert in.
-
Dr. KevlarHighly recommendMy husband and I are working on starting our family and I have heard so much good information in Dr. Berlins podcast! I love tone and layout of every podcast I’ve heard so far. I recently reached out to Dr. Berlin to recommend a suggestion for a podcast and he replied back to me almost immediately which I so very much appreciated because I don’t often get feedback when I reach out on other podcast channels. Very excited for future podcasts!
-
margaretxyzNot a medical doctorGood for the celeb birth stories but nothing else. As I was listening I was surprised by how little this “doctor” knew about birth. Then heard an episode stating he’s a prenatal chiropractor...that explains it. No medical degree. There’s a mix of good information and misinformation in this podcast, so be careful and skeptical of everything you hear.

ajhenneLove, Love, LOVE this podcast! and Dr. Berlin!I'm a complete podcast JUNKIE. I've probably listenes to close to a hundred different podcasts stations over the last decade and I think this is the second review I've ever written. I simply feel a need to commend Dr Berlin for this podcast. The podcast is always loaded with great information, and Dr Berlin has a special way if interviewing and hosting his guests. He assists in painting a picture from several viewpoints, he's always fair and factual, and he cracks me up! Lots of fun, innocent humor thrown in, and I love it. I think I laugh almost every podcast. :) I've now been listening to this podcast for over three years now from when I first got pregnant, all the way through to my now second pregnancy. I totally geek out on all these labor and delivery topics, along with holistic health. So Thank you Dr Berlin for this entertaining AND informative podcast. SIDENOTE/REQUEST - I'm now in my second pregnancy and have been dreaming of a VBAC since the morning after the Emergency C section (requiring general anesthesia) which I had with my first. *However* come to find out I'm pregnant with Mon-Di twins. I've been reading mixed information on the safety of vbac or even vaginal delivery for this specific twin type due to risk of TTTS during labor. Is there a possibility you could bring a specialist on to cover the research on MonoDI pregnancy, L&D? Thank you thank you! LOVE this podcast!
-
nicholedominguezUnsubscribedI’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year when I became pregnant and then had a miscarriage. And even with my second pregnancy. Until he had on Dr. Sears. I gave the episode a listen because thought it was going to be interesting to hear an open unbiased scientific conversation about vaccines from a Dr.’s perspective. Wrong. Sears is clearly pushing an anti-vaxxer narrative and lacing it with half truths. Pass.
-
EesmotherChildhood VaccinationsLOVED the episode with Dr. Bob Sears! So much great information from a very knowledgeable source. Thanks for tackling a “taboo” subject without someone just giving the media soundbytes “vaccines are safe and effective.”
-
SarahMakSFLove the podcastI really ennjoyed this podcast. Love Dr. Berlin’s voice. Very soothing. I especially appreciated the childhood vaccination episode with Dr. Bob Sears. Very informative and planted seeds for further research.
-
SeaMomOfThreeBalanced, respectful, informativeThank you, Dr. Berlin, for the episode entitled “Childhood Vaccinations”. Your discussion with Dr. Bob Sears provided balanced valuable information for the audience, and you demonstrated a sincere quest for knowledge regarding the risks and benefits of various vaccines for your listeners. How refreshing!
-
MamaMermaidBrookeThank you for talking about vaccinationYour episode on Childhood Vaccination with Dr Sears was a breath of fresh air. It's so valuable to have a neutral, unbaised pediatrician present information without an agenda. Thank you so much for providing voice to something that mainstream media is doing a horrid job of talking about.
-
CTmom4Vaccine ConversationThanks for having an open and honest conversation about vaccines. Thank you Dr. Bob for your educated point of view!!
-
pinkrlrMy Favorite Pregnancy/Post Partum PodcastThank you so much for this podcast! The episodes are super informative and I really appreciate the inclusion of taboo topics like vaccines treated openly and explored with professionals. And love the covering of other topics that also aren’t typically covered (especially pelvic floor health).
-
DiChiriaDr BobI loved this podcast and recommend it to friends until Dr. Bob came on. Not a great pick to speak to future and new moms. “...facing another accusation from the Medical Board of California, less than a year after he was placed on probation for medically negligent practices”- Forbes.com about Dr. Bob
-
katesamomHonest and helpfulThank you for sharing lots of helpful info and ideas. As a first time pregnant mom, I’m appreciative of the details.
-
SolelisaReview on Because You Are Superwoman - J K CoyThe interview was suprisngly enlightening. As a podcast clearly catered to the need of expectant mothers, even a passerby like me learned about the intimate feeling and suprisingly complex and intangible feelings felt by expectant mother in a process like labor, which is often demonized. Although I agree with the idea of expanding the options for expectant mothers in regards to birthing process I feel that the author understates the importance of having hospital care there as a "backup". More of my important thoughts are reflected in the Times article "The Godess Myth".

carolina.lopez005Great PodcastThere is more than one positive thing to say about this podcast. The clarity of this podcast and interviews are top notch. You can hear everything perfectly clear and there is no interruption in the background which helps you pay 100 percent attention. This podcast caters to women who want to become pregnant and learn more about childbirth, whether its natural or medical intervention. Everything thats said in this podcast is up to date information, nothing before 2014. This podcast is very interesting for me more than entertaining. You can learn so much just by listening to 45 minutes of your time. I am rating this podcast and giving it 5 stars to Dr. Berlin's Informed Pregnancy podcast.

IUGR mommaLove love loveWould love to hear more about cesarean and repeat cesarean birth!
-
LP778JI can’t relate...Interesting, entertaining, but skewed view of pregnancy and birth. He interviews mostly LA elite. Most are in the “2%” who choose to give birth at home. Some hire vegan catering for the event, others walk outside of their ocean front home and watch dolphins as they’re laboring, and all hire the best of the best team to assist them through the whole process. Midwifes, doulas, chiropractors, photographers, videographers, you name it. I wish they’d interview women who have had broader birth experiences and, like the majority of us, do not have unlimited resources.
-
BmaluegBest pregnancy podcast! This is my favorite podcast!! My husband is a chiropractor and we had a natural birth with our first. We are not currently pregnant but I just love listening to this. So informative. Thank you for helping educate parents and parents-to-be!!
-
SandolozIt’s a must!Loving this podcast! So informative and I’m learning so much!!
-
ihdkgbsldbBe careful who you trustDo your own research. Don’t trust what this “doctor” says. Unfortunately he’s spreading misinformation that could be harmful.
-
EricanoelAbsolute favorite podcast!Regardless of if you have kids or not you should listen to this podcast! Guys and girls! It is very evidence based and informative. I don’t have kids yet, but I hope to someday and this podcast has prepared me for that day. Love!
-
5ghjjiSecond time mom and love this pod cast!I had a 100 hour start to finish induction with my first and I’m currently pregnant with my second. I was so scared when I found out that I was pregnant that my birth with this one that will happen in May would be so similar to my now 3 years olds birth. This pod cast has shown me how each birth with each baby and person is soooo different! This pod cast is preparing me for everything that could happen! Keep up the great work!
