I’ve been listening for a decade. As an old Boomer, KATG helps me learn what the kids in Gen X are thinking. I enjoy hearing about the life stories and experiences of their guests. And Keith reads the NY Post so I don’t have to!

This show is among the greatest!
I've been listening since about a few weeks before Keith stopped drinking and I've been hooked ever since. I was hipped to this show from The Black Guy Who Tips podcast all those years ago and never looked back! They're great people who though their comedy heal hearts and sooth minds, as the saying goes Cool People Cool People! I've been a VIP member for a few years and it's been a life line, I've moved states, lost a cat, gotten divorced, reunited with family members that I no longer talk so I can my best life all with the help of this show. Like Rod and Karen from The Black Guy Who Tips they're a calm island in the storm of life and the fact that they provide so much joy is the best medicine ever! Love you Keith and Chemda, everyone in the chat! And Silent Trailers is the best game show in the Universe!

Just wish Keith would stop whining about his dad. So obnoxious and infantile.

    Meatloaf
I got hooked on these guys in 2008 and have been keeping up with them daily. They are consistently entertaining and always come first on my playlist... only when KATG is done do other podcasts fill my ears. Also they were right about meatloaf. So I’m here to counterbalance that goofball.

    Brilliant!
If you are into irreverent, honest, hysterical real talk, definitely listen to KATG. I found them at a time in my life when I had no room for B.S. and they helped me laugh through it. KATG Forever!

    Meatloaf
I am not in your demographics- love your show, but, your takedown on Meatloaf really aggravated me( I could say I was uncomfortable, but at my age, that is not descriptive) I am sorry you guys didn’t appreciate his music- at the time he was popular- what a difference he made! Dashboard Light- my generation- was a real thing. I so remember singing that while my husband sang the opposite when we drove hours in the car. Meatloaf was operatic in his music. His stand regarding vaccinations- was he vaccinated? I know he was vocal regarding this. My daughter has the same response- although she IS vaccinated- it is no ones business- it’s kinda like “no one tells me what to do”. So - in case you are wondering- I am vaccinated and I am a nurse with 46 years experience - I guess what I’m trying to say, if you get to the end, I love Meatloaf s music, and I thought you guys just ripped him unfairly- so sorry about that- Ginny Skipper

    Love KATG
Just gave you 5 stars. Would really LOVE to hear you interview Paul and Sasha from the Community News (comedy) podcast. You all together for a show would be HILARIOUS.

    Funny AND thought-provoking!
I LOVE THIS PODCAST. I will probably listen to it until the day they stop podcasting. :) I've been listening since episode #250, and I met Keith and Chemda, as a VIP, on their 10-city tour October, 2015! Jump in anywhere, listen to at least 2-3 episodes... You might find release in it too. :)

    Still got it
These guys are the originals. They have grown and evolved-don't always agree with them but they have great guests and Solent Trailers is a must see. Keith is a master with interviewing guest. He really commands the mic/he’s an alpha male with a soft side and strong opinions. Even if you don’t agree with him, he will make you laugh. I look forward to it.

This guy got a divorce because his wife left the kitchen cupboard doors open. I stopped listening when I heard that.

    1 star losers
Some of these people genuinely say that KATG talk about the same thing every show for 15+ years. Lol, ok 1 star losers. I’m a huge fan and although I haven’t listened to all 3,000+ shows, I know that every show is so uniquely different special. I love the katg family so much and they’ve helped me survive living among the idiots of the world. Peace, love and OMAT.

    The First and The Best!
Keith and The Girl is the original comedy podcast and the best! Keith and Chemda are relatable and hysterical! I love hearing Keith’s views on the stories of the day as Chemda injects positivity in the funniest way even just to get Keith going. I never tire of Keith’s rants ...and boy does he rant whether it’s about Trump or his Trumpesque dad. Chemda is so positive and adorable but just as witty and cutting when she has an issue in the news or with a guest. AND the guests are great! I love My Keith and The Girl! Please give us 15 more years!

    An underrated, Hall-of-Fame podcast!
Keith and Chemda are one of the all-time duos. Their show has made me laugh, cry, and laugh 'till I cried. I've listened to hundreds of different podcasts, but theirs is the one I keep coming back to year after year.

Guess I’m in it for real now
I’ve been listening to KATG for almost a year now. It was recommended to me by a friend when I was starting to listen to podcasts on commutes. I didn’t think I would be able to get into such a long running podcast—jumping in after they’ve been doing their thing over a decade seemed daunting, and especially considering Keith was catfishing his dad as his ex wife. I listened once, then l the next day and kept up as they released new episodes and it’s become part of my daily routine. It’s the perfect balance of humor that’s not too detached to the day to day current events thanks to Keith’s bummer news. His yell-ey responses to the calamity of the moment is like a balm to the soul. I’m a VIP so I can hear the gossip on last week on Keith on the girl. Bianca is the best.

    The best.
I’ve been listening since the beginning and am as in love with Chemda and Keith as I was upon listening to their first episode. Genuinely funny, thoughtful, intelligent, and entertaining. They don’t know it, but they’ve been on every dog walk with me that I’ve gone on in the last 15 years! They’re great company 😊

    Intelligence and guts
I never get tired of you two the way I often do with other podcasts. You avoid the traps of falling in love with your own voices and opinions and actually seem to push each other to critically think and empathize. You’re smart and brave and crazy in the best ways. Thank you for your righteous anger and authentic commitment to the social contracts decency demands. Love and health to you both.

    My Favorite Podcast!
There's no podcast out there that tops this one! I've been a loyal listener for a couple years now and at this point I don't know what I would do without them in my ears and in my heart. Thank you for the many hours of laughs!

    Jingle jingle
From the first moment I heard them, I felt like I knew them, but wanted to know more. Little did I know that they would soon make my libido jingle. My feeble mind couldn’t begin to comprehend how enmeshed in their stories and personalities I would become. Even I, who was once the greatest shift supervisor Taco Mayo ever saw, am impressed, nay, amazed, by this show, and especially the “Dad” saga.

A Lifeline to good cosmopolitan thinking
I’m culturally different than most of my co-inhabitants of the most Republican county in (rural) Illinois. The show makes me faal a little less alone. It’s influenced my thinking in very positive ways.

KATG is one of the first podcasts I discovered 11 years ago and I’m still a faithful listener til this day. Truly one of the best podcasts in the game but absolutely the best comedy podcast period!

    Hilarious!
I heard about this podcast from listening to the Teen Mom Trash Talk podcast. Tracey, the host, mentioned that she was a guest on an episode, and she said that the podcast was really funny and successful. I listened to her episode, and now I’m binging all the episodes because Keith and Chemda are so genuine and funny! They talk about everything: current events, their own lives, etc., and they are super relatable and hilarious. Love this podcast! Thanks, Tracey, for recommending!

    Keeps Getting Better
Keith and The Girl has been in my life since middle school. While I know that makes the hosts, Keith and Chemda, uncomfortable, they’ve been a guiding force in my life teaching me how to relate to others through conversations and move through life without fear. They’re incredible people and I’m proud to still listen to their daily podcast.

    the originals!
A very popular blogger from back in the beginning of the web, mentioned this podcast and I had to try it. The name made me suspect it was a country western type duo. I have been hooked every since. I recommend buying VIP pass so you can hear from the beginning. Keith & Chemda have been living their interesting lives & sharing as they go along. Not to mention interesting guests, great POP culture & News references. I love em!
  • MdoBacon
    An ever evolving & improving
Listening feels like commiserating, laughing, and debating with pals. The show provides giggles to overshadow the tough topics of today. Keith and Chemda have an electric dynamic. I’ve listened for years, but never grow sick of it. While the show was always great (and I’ve been going through even older eps with their VIP), it has evolved and matured over time, but not in a way that diminishes the past - like the Harry Potter books, they become more thought provoking and the lessons grow deeper as you move through the series.

    I feel happier now
Having the influence of the Keith and the Girl podcast in my life has really made me a happier person. Because they share so much of their lives, I feel like I’ve made the coolest funniest friends ever on my long commute to work. I live in California, but listening to them I feel like I have learned so much about New York. Keith and Chemda and Andrea are funny, honest, and their venerability gets their guests to open up and share such intimate details. Their discussions of religion, trauma, gender etc have opened my mind and validated my own thoughts. Most importantly, what they have shared about addiction and alcohol has helped me stop drinking. I smile more, laugh easier, and feel more connected because of listening to this podcast since 2017. Thank you Keith and Chemda for the important work you do.
