My Favorite Murder is a true crime comedy podcast hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark. Each week, Karen and Georgia share compelling true crimes and hometown stories from friends and listeners. 

Since MFM launched in January of 2016, Karen and Georgia have shared their lifelong interest in true crime and have covered stories of infamous serial killers like the Night Stalker, mysterious cold cases, captivating cults, incredible survivor stories and important events from history like the Tulsa race massacre of 1921.

    Oddly enough, this murder podcast is like my comfort blanket. When I’m anxious, lonely, bored or in need of an escape this is where I turn. Not sure what it says about me that I listen daily, but Georgia and Karen are my unknowingly best friends. They balance humor, empathy, and darkness like you can’t believe. I highly recommend this podcast.

    I started listening to this podcast about eight years ago and it was immediately enticing. Around Covid times, understandably effort said it’s dwindle podcast. Frequency was not as desired and research level was amazing. But now all the best parts of the early show paired with researchers to write an incredibly well crafted story and the personality of two of the best hosts around. I now love the show again.

    Total late bloomer to podcasts. I’ve been a murderino since reading the “Drama in Real Life” section of my Grandma’s Reader’s Digest. I met Karen and Georgia at my first book swap, where their book was offered. My hand immediately went to it, and my lovely co-worker caught me up on podcasts. I’m a teacher and love to disassociate on the way home to MFM. I love all the memories it brings up from my own childhood (Gen X, latchkey) and can relate to the recovery, ADHD, and desire for Canadian citizenship! Keep it up. We need you.
