No sleep used to be good, but now it’s just smoke and mirrors. The stories are just cheap, just hastily thrown together, without any endings anymore, and they have no thought to closure anymore, because it doesn’t take any talent to write horror with out an ending, so they are just cheap thoughtless rifts, no longer providing closure. Open ended stories, provide no entertainment and or sense. Any halfwit can write this 1st grade school nonsense. Your stories used to provide closure, but now you think you can, because you have some short lived fame, which is waining fast, that you can shovel this swill out and call it what you will. You need to find real writers of horror, and stop with these, lame stories that you dispense over and over, that are more of the same ol same, empty lines of dribble!

Absolutely love this show so much! Started listening to it my Sophomore year of college. It got me through so many long commutes. And now at work I enjoy listening to it during my lunch. Truly an amazing show with talented voice actors. The improvements and growth this show has had over the years truly incredible. The audio for this show is one of my favorites and don’t even get me started on the quality of the stories. A show worth listening to!

Been listening for 5 years, paid hundreds for content. Can’t access over a hundred dollars worth of content I paid for, 0 response from the podcast and they blocked me when I asked about it on the Facebook page. I’ve never had content I paid for stolen from me and then the company just ignores the customers. Wouldn’t recommend the podcast either, it goes further downhill every season. Good voice actors left and stories are mediocre at best. Definitely wouldn’t pay for anything with them. Surprised they’re this sketchy as a long time listener.

This podcast has the BEST stories and the best voice actors! I wish this was an anthology on Netflix or Shudder. Love it so much! So much talent, the best stories!

Cannot access the package that I paid over $120 for. Can’t get anyone to respond to emails. Feels pretty messed up that they can take away content that was already purchased.

This podcast is easily the best I’ve found, I started listening in 2021 during long work shift and this pod made those shifts melt away. I’m now on my second run through of the podcast and gotta say it’s really awesome going back to the beginning and being able to hear just how far the cast has come since the start. If you want a good podcast to come back to and you like stories that make your hair stand up than you found it. If I could I’d give it 10 stars

I absolutely love this podcast! It has introduced me to so many different authors, I love the how to survive camping series. It’s such a well thought out channel and well worth the subscription.

The story “Listen Right” in season 17 reminded me why I love horror podcasts. I cannot recommend No Sleep enough! I started listening in 2011 to help me stay awake when I worked night shift and I am a lifelong fan. The stories have always been excellent, but the producing has only gotten better!

The granddaddy of them all!! Voices and quality are top notch!!!

Earlier seasons were great but the past 5 or so not so much. The stories are bland and predictable. The actors are all very one-note. They play the same characters over and over in every tale. They have no sense of character acting at all. And David Cummings is not a good voice actor at all. He always plays it like a cartoon character with horrible accents. And the female characters are always so whiny and helplessly crying constantly. It’s so annoying and kind of insulting. The production value is good though and every once and a while you’ll get a good story but it’s few and far between.

Congratulations on yet another season of keeping me up Sunday nights sans sleep.

This podcast show started my love for form of entertainment. David and his talented cast for me are the best. When I think of the horror genre they are the same as the greats like Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I hope that this review helps in a small way to repay the many many times this podcast has helped me through some tough times. Keep up the great work, your show helps more than you can ever know.

Been a fan for years but like other reviews have stated the recent episodes all feel really boring and not scary at all. At this point I can’t remember the last time I didn’t tune out or skip stories all together. It’s mostly become background noise which is sad because I used to love this podcast. I hope the story quality picks up next season.

You guys need to make your seasons and episodes more navigable. Don't want to have to scroll for two hours just to get to the first episode

I was here from the very beginning. I used to love this show, I would pay for every season pass and was my favorite go to escapism. Seems like after season 15 something changed. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the stories just seem very bland now, no wow factor, no creep factor, no stories that keep me thinking long after the episode is over. Bad writing, boring stories, a few episodes I'd ask myself " is this even horror??" , the voice acting seems way over the top while the stories seem very underwhelming. Seems like the stories are trying to be bizarre and over the top as possible, yet just come across as dull and underwhelming. I still try and listen to every episode, though now it just feels like a chore. Keep holding out hope that the writing will bounce back to the earlier seasons, but I might just give up on this one soon.

Season 1 listener This show used to be amazing. I’d say after season 15 it just lost its touch. Older seasons used to give you chills and the WOW factor. But now most stories drag on and you’re left wondering “how is this a horror podcast?” Long drawn out boring stories. Also they now always have to put a very biased political stance in quite a few shows.

I’m a season 1 listener and I enjoyed the horror from Demons and ghouls with a slice of life horror, now it just feels bland. No more biblical or universal horror anymore it’s all seems to be going in a one track direction of point of view. No more surprise endings or twists that will shock you, you can see the ending a mile away. It’s alll a point of view and no feeling through all the characters all to be rounded up with just sound and noises of actions.

The professionalism unto which this show is performed rivals some of the world’s best audio book readings.

I listen to a lot of podcasts but this is the only one I’ve listened to every episode three times at least. Finally joined the Sanctuary today so I can support these talented actors and creators while getting new content for myself. Love this show!

The last story about the creature in the sea and the last words of their loved ones repeating gave me goosebumps! Loved it

I’ve been listening to this show over the past 6 years it’s gotten me through a two incredibly boring night shift jobs, the lockdown and that was only the FREE episodes! I’m not gonna lie not every episode is best I’ve ever heard, but there’s certainly a PLETHORA of great/ fantastic ones. Now the somber day has arrived where I’ve caught up to the current episodes, but just in time for easy access to all the previous premium episodes! Thank you again to all the voices actors and crew members. I’m Looking forward to see what I missed and for another couple years of sleepless nights!

I am one who’s a lover of Horror Audio Drama podcasts. This has become one of my go tos.. Keep up the great work!

So I am fairly desensitized to most horror and scary stories. With that in mind I am almost finished with season 2 and have enjoyed 90% of the stories. A couple even managed to give me a bit of a chill. Looking forward to continuing my binge of spooky delights.

Some of the stories are pretty decent. Most aren’t. They either have a nonsensical ending or none at all. I find myself just drifting off when listening to them with no desire to rewind and listen again. I have been listening for years, but the story quality just isn’t there anymore.

Since I was 11 I was obsessed with this. Everyday I listen to a new episode. I think it was more scary back some episodes but other then that IT IS AMAZING. I am always looking forward for this. You guys are so going to be the new wings of fire or Harry Potter! 🩷😁😄🫶🏻

Where’s more stories like The Whistlers, 500 yards, or Murmur Man? I’d have to agree with some of the recent comments, the earlier seasons are definitely better. Please adjust as necessary. I’m a paying customer and don’t appreciate the lack of attention.

I’ve been looking for a podcast like this— forever!

Firstly, I literally LOVE this podcast and have since 2016, when I was a little sophomore in high school 🫶🏽 overall, I enjoy this podcast so much, it’s just that it’s gotten less and less scary and more psychological over the years. I miss the scary body horror, creature features, aliens, scary woods and all the other fun stuff, but after season 14-15 it’s just gone to more psychological and hunting at “insert horror” and it’s not as scary. Still great, I’d just love more horror like the earlier seasons because those seasons made me jump in the dark and be terrified while laying in bed. The new seasons are just eh that’s cool. With the trigger warnings, I think it’s safe to delve into the same horror y’all did in the earlier seasons. Also, all the people mad about “woke culture” they are just advocating for lgbt+ and POC, how is it woke for protecting marginalized communities? Sad that they lost followers just because of that

I’ve been listening faithfully since back in the day when there was a content warning before listening because it may have been too scary or triggering. The stories have simmered down just a little, they are still pretty much VERY creepy 😂 I have yet to stop listening and I know it has been about 10 years now lol It’s a part of my Sunday routine!

I’ve literally listened to every episode. The last couple seasons have dramatically declined in story quality. This last episode, story 2 I believe, sounded like it was written by a 14 y/o on her iPad, without any continuity or grammar editing by Cummings.. I’ll keep listening, it is a great show.

I loved this podcast, but the last couple seasons have been meh, at best. There’s no more suspense in the episodes, and the “horror” element is rarely there. Most of the episodes are just whiny characters that, you could care less what happens to them. The camp series was great, and don’t get me wrong if you’ve never heard this cast before find the feed the pig episodes. Listen to the older seasons they are magnificent. I still tune in every week, but I find my self putting it on more for background noise than anything.

I joke that they probably have my picture somewhere in the NoSleep Headquarters because of the absolutely heinous amount of hours I have listened to this podcast!!! Favorite podcast of all time - collabs with Mike Flanagan and Co. are always incredible!

O.M.G. i am in heaven. these stories are very entertaining and there appears to be an endless amount of content. i have been a podcast listener for several years now. started with dateline, 20/20, 48 hours. added in crime junkie and morbid. listen to all the news pods that are fairly brief. i’m crazy about radiolab, snap judgement, most npr similar shows. read my first stephen king novel at around 6 (thanks to careless older brother!) but i’m not happy with his latest… just trying to give you some context on what i like. because i’m loving these stories and the fact that it’s going to be a very long time before i’m going to need to “wait” for the “next installment “!

I'm sooo disappointed what are These horribly long and boring not scary exhausting stories?? What happened to you guys? Im so upset I loved listening to your podcast but this is horrible..why such a drop in entertainment? I had to turn off every new episode after only maybe 10 mins! You used to be great I guess you jumped the shark..so sad
